At JVS Bodyworks, we’re looking for the next generation of technicians to join our highly skilled team through an Automotive Body Repair Technology Apprenticeship.

This is more than just learning a trade. It’s an opportunity to build a career in a progressive workshop that invests heavily in technology, training and people.

Our team works with industry leading repair equipment, modern vehicle construction methods and first-class repair standards.
Because of this commitment, our apprentices and team members continue to achieve recognition at local, state and national levels.

In a stunning setting of the Adelaide Oval, Motor Trade Association of SA/NT put on a spectacular show for the 2026 MTA Automotive Graduation & Awards Night! A night for the team to get all dressed up and enjoy a celebration of their success.
A huge thank you to all sponsors who supported the evening and made it into an unforgettable night.

A huge congratulations to Lachlan Brown and Taran Donovan on graduating their apprenticeships. Lachlan is now a fully qualified Automotive Body Repair Technician, and Taran a fully qualified Automotive Refinishing Technician — both incredible achievements that reflect years of hard work, skill development and commitment to the trade.

A special mention to Taran, who was also awarded the prestigious Bob Goldsworthy Award. Recognising outstanding dedication, craftsmanship and commitment to excellence. Even more exciting, this marks the third time in four years that a JVS Bodyworks apprentice has taken home this honour. A true testament to the strength of training, mentorship and opportunity available in regional workshops and proof that success in knows no postcode.

As a business, we were honoured to be named Industry Employer of the Year. This award reflects our team’s ongoing commitment to investing in people, developing skills and supporting the next generation of automotive experts to thrive. This is the second time that JVS Bodyworks has been received this award and is testament to our ongoing commitment to training and development.

We were also incredibly proud to have Pip recognised as a finalist in both the Female Apprentice of the Year and Most Outstanding 3rd Year Apprentice categories. While she didn’t take home the awards this year, being named a state finalist is an outstanding achievement. The feedback from judges and trainers was exceptional — and we have no doubt she’s one to watch in the future!

Behind every apprentice is a strong support network, and we’d like to acknowledge the parents, partners and friends who back them every step of the way. Your encouragement, patience and belief plays a huge role in their success... and in ours! Also a shout out to our experienced technicians who work tirelessly to train and instil critical skills in Apprentices.
From getting behind big career milestones to jumping on board with our more “out there” moments (think Christmas pageant floats and Christmas party adventures), you’re very much part of the JVS team and we very much appreciate you!

Nights like these reinforce why we do what we do. Investing in skills and development isn’t just important — it’s everything.

The JVS Bodyworks team are taking a much deserved break to celebrate Christmas with our families and friends.

We will be closed from 2pm Tuesday 23rd December and reopening on Monday 12th Jan 2026.

We would like to thank everyone for their support during this year, it sure has been a great one!

Wow, Friday 5th December was a night to remember in Renmark!

This year, our crew went full Barbie Movie theme featuring Weird Barbie, Roller-blade Barbie, junior Barbies and more Ken’s than we could count… all wrapped in a whole lot of pink!

The question of the night - “where did you get the pink Barbie car??”

The answer - we made it!

The feature car belongs to a member of our team and just two weeks before the pageant, it was red. Thanks to an incredible team effort, it was completely transformed into the pink Barbie dream you see in the photos. A huge thank you to Autolac for supporting us with the vehicle paint.

A big shout out to Brett Rivergraphics for the float signage, it looked awesome!

Thanks to Santos Ready Mix Concrete for the donation of the beach sand for our ultimate Beach Off scene! You will be pleased to know it was donated
Renmark Primary School nature play area.

Must also mention Growers Services for the kind donation of the trailer and equipment to load & unload the beach sand.

We are so proud of the creativity, teamwork and community spirit shown by our team. Thank you to every team member who gave their time, energy and ideas.

A superb effort from the Renmark Christmas Pageant committee for a fabulous event once again.

What a night, what a team - Kenough said!

A little bit of time out of the office for Jason Gordon for the next couple of days.
He is out raising money for Rare Cancers Australia, a cause that is so close to our hearts. With over $15,000 raised so far, it has been an incredibly heartwarming response to our fundraising efforts.
