WELL… WHERE DO I START! ❤️
There’s Cooly Rocks On. There’s Beachfest. Both awesome events in their own right.
And now, after many, many years of hard work, there’s a third beachfront motoring event
Peninsula Motorfest.
What a cracking weekend.
The crowds, the entrants, the cars, the atmosphere, everyone turned it on for what was an absolutely cracking 3 days and officially our BIGGEST PENINSULA MOTORFEST EVER!
And when I look back at the 3 days, I’m bloody proud of what me and my team have built and the funds we raise for local charity.
DAY 1 our Friday night cruise was the biggest we’ve ever had.
DAY 2, The Belvedere Hotel was our biggest Saturday ever, bringing a huge crowd into Woody Point and supporting local business.
DAY 3, Pelican Park was, by far, our biggest Sunday to date, bringing all the family elements together, incredible cars, kids entertainment, live music, food vendors, trade stalls, displays and something for everyone. Seeing thousands of people enjoying the day together is exactly what Peninsula Motorfest is all about.
Personally, I’m incredibly proud of what my team and I have been able to build over the years.
Peninsula Motorfest isn’t just about the cars. It’s about bringing the car community together, creating something families can enjoy, raising money for a great local charity and bringing thousands of people into Redcliffe to support our local businesses and community.
That’s something I’m bloody proud of.
And most importantly, this whole weekend was about raising funds for Redcliffe Mums Incorporated, a local charity doing incredible things for underprivileged kids through their schools across the Redcliffe Peninsula and Moreton Bay region.
We are currently sitting at OVER $12,000 RAISED AND COUNTING! ❤️
To everyone who got involved in our charity auction on Saturday, thank you. What a great new addition to Peninsula Motorfest and something we’ll definitely be bringing back.
A massive thank you to Andrew Reibelt from Image Property Consultants Redcliffe for putting his hand up and running the auction for us. Absolute legend.
Now for the thank-yous, because an event like this simply doesn’t happen without a lot of people behind it.

Sam and the crew from Redcliffe Towing, you guys were there from Wednesday, picking up toilet blocks, moving fences and still helping us with pack-down today. Thank you legends.
Mick Vidler thank you for bringing down your cars an absolute pleasure having some of your collection down there. To everyone else who unvaild a car Shannon, Kody or Todd guys this was a highlight of the weekend thank you.
And finally, to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who brought a car out, came down with the family, supported the charity or was one of our 3day entrants I cant thank you all enough
THANK YOU.
Without the cars, without the entrants and without the crowds, there simply isn’t a Peninsula Motorfest.
A few more days of pack-down ahead for me and then I’m disappearing for a few days of well-earned rest
But we are not stopping here.
