Giovanni brought his tough black VF GTS in for a routine NSW Pink Slip inspection.

With a LSA charger under the bonnet, these things are an absolute weapon straight from the factory! 💪🔥

🔧 IT’S MORE THAN JUST AN OIL CHANGE! 🚗

We had this Nissan Navara in for a routine service, and during our standard safety checks, we found something worth sharing!

As part of every service, we check tyre pressures and inspect the overall condition of the tyres.

🛞 Both rear tyres were sitting at just 20 PSI!

The interesting part? With the vehicle sitting on the ground, you wouldn’t even know they were that low just by looking at them!

🔩 One tyre had a bolt clearly visible in the tread.

💦 The other had a leak that wasn’t visible until we sprayed it with soapy water and watched for bubbles.

⚠️ Why are correct tyre pressures so important?

✅ Helps prevent uneven and premature tyre wear
✅ Improves handling and braking performance
✅ Reduces unnecessary fuel consumption
✅ Helps prevent excessive heat build-up and tyre failure
✅ Most importantly, helps keep you and your passengers safe!

🔥 Billy’s VS SS just got a serious upgrade! 🔥

We fitted a CAPA Performance Vortex supercharger with a front mount intercooler, along with a complete fuel system upgrade to keep up with the extra airflow.

🔧 CAPA Vortex supercharger
🔧 Front mount intercooler
🔧 Boot-mounted surge tank
🔧 -8AN braided fuel line from rear to engine
🔧 Battery relocated to the boot
🔧 Bosch 1000cc injectors
🔧 Change diff gears to 3.9 ratio
🔧 Installed twin thermo fans and wired into the haltech

Finished off with a tune by Profection Automotive to bring it all together.

One great-looking VS SS, now with a bit of grunt to match! 💪🔥

🔥 Dale’s WK Caprice – out with the lifter tick, in with a VCM480! 🔥

Dale’s WK Caprice came in with the dreaded lifter tick, so it was the perfect time to give the old girl a proper upgrade.

While we had it apart, we found the cam bearings were showing brass, so they weren’t going back in. We also tried something we haven’t done before — removing and installing the cam bearings without pulling the bottom end apart.

Happy to say it worked perfectly and we successfully replaced the full set. 👌

This one is a bit special for us too, being the first cam package installed in our new workshop!

Dale has been incredibly patient with us while we’ve been setting the shop up and tinkering away with his Caprice, so it’s great to finally get this one together and ready to enjoy.

🔧 Parts fitted:
• VCM OTR
• VCM480 camshaft
• VCM pushrods
• VCM timing chain set
• Melling oil pump
• Melling valve springs
• New cam bearings
• Full gasket kit

Dale also supplied a set of headers and a new short shifter, which we fitted while everything was apart.

Big shoutout to Profection Automotive for getting us in for the tune and, as always, doing an awesome job! 🙌
