🚨 Emergency trailer repair! 🚨

While we were busy setting up the new workshop, our good mate Mark gave us a call with an urgent problem. The hitch on his trailer had torn the welds apart, leaving him stranded with a fully loaded trailer of pig feed and a 1.5-hour drive home ahead of him.

No hesitation—we rolled out the welder and got to work. 🔥

🔧 We welded a new reinforcing plate onto the drawbar to strengthen the hitch, and while we had it apart Mark ducked out and grabbed a new trailer brake lever. The old one had been welded directly to the drawbar, which simply wasn’t strong enough for the weight, even though it had lasted all these years.

With the new plate welded on and the new brake lever fitted, the trailer was back together and ready to make the trip home safely.

🚗 Julie’s Holden Cruze was booked in for a coolant leak diagnosis after noticing coolant loss.

We carried out a pressure test on the cooling system and quickly tracked the leak down to the coolant bottle hose fittings, which had split.

🔧 Pressure tested cooling system

🔧 Replaced the faulty parts and pressure tested again to confirm the repair
