Final round of Nugget Nationals has now been run and won at Haunted Hills on Saturday. Was a great day as the weather behaved and the track felt great.
Had a personal best fishing spot of 15th over all out of 54 cars and 9th out of the nuggets. Really feeling like the nug is coming into its own now. Cant wait for next season to come around and do it all again.
The video is of my final run at the end where I went from a 62.05 to a 61.71. Was chasing the 61.- - for most the day and was beyond exited to se it pop up on the timing board in run 11.
Thanks to everyone who attended this year, I really enjoyed every second at the track with like minded people just enjoying each other's success and supporting in the lows.
And finally I like to thank all the organisers and volunteers for their amazing work and efforts all year. You guys really make it what it is.

Bit of a different post this time around but if you get the chance grab a copy of this month's Motor magazine. It has a full story on the most recent Nugget Nationals event held at Bryant Park with some amazing photos. Was a great day even if a bit wet, which did make for a great shot of the Mirage going full send at the bottom end of the track.

Hi all.
Finally had the chance to get back out on track with Nugget Nationals at Winton over the weekend and was an absolute blast. A massive thanks to Ying, Tom and the rest of the Nugget crew who always go above and beyond to put on amazing days.

A bit of a delay for posting from the last track day. A day where it all began 12 months after. In one year of driving the nugget, I have taken 10 seconds off my time on the figure 8 layout at Haunted Hills. Thanks again for all the great times. I look forward to doing it all again next year. Pb's all around.

First day after the never-ending lockdown and straight to the track. And what a great day with Nugget Nationals at Broadford. The weather was fantastic, racing was superb and the company as always was amazing. Thanks to all the organisers who done a amazing job making the day come together. Well that was a bit of fun. After finally getting the suspension in I dropped it into my tyre guys for a wheel alignment. And I tell you what I can't speak highly enough about the guys at Edgars tyrepower in Notting Hill. Especially Martin who went above and beyond even taking driver weight into account when setting up the car for me. Been waiting too long for these to arrive. Set of Silvers coil overs an some Hardrace rear camber adjustment arms. Will be putting these in tomorrow night if all goes to plan.

Well that was a long day. Starting with a 3:30 wake up before a 3 hour drive to get to winton by 7. Managed to forget my shoes as I decided to drive up in thongs. So off to Target in Banella for a $20 pair of slip on shoes. Best lap in first session was a 1:57.9 and finishing off the day with my last lap being a 1:54.5.
What a fun track and a great group to hang out with. Thanks
