Many years ago 26 in fact my family and i were holidaying in Port Lincoln , enjoying the spoils of the pristine coastline of the West Coast . We met Bob Hutchinson from the now Spot on store , and it was from his enthusiasm tha

t first sparked our interest in opening a tackle store back home in Port Pirie , from there we meet another mentor in Brian Wheadon from Copper Coast Marine and Tackle between the two, They set us of on our new career path and we opened Boats n Bits back in those days. We set about with a mission statement to our customers to be Loyal to them for their support , endeavour to bring them competitive pricing , gather the best brands to deliver to them , and ultimately supply good old fashion customer service . Ours has been a family business without doubt having employed both daughters and both son in-laws , even Debra’s little sister and a second cousin , which some think is hard to do work with family , but i believe there is no better way to keep grounded than working with love ones as there usually not shy in pointing out when your attitudes need adjusting LOL
