Honestly, we're not too sure. What we do know is that unfortunately, approximately 1 in every 41 casualty crashes on country roads involves a vehicle hitting an animal.

When driving on country roads, keep an eye out for wildlife and be prepared to brake in a safe and controlled manner and avoid swerving harshly 🚗

🤔 Do you know when the 'Keep Left' rule applies? Is it...

A) At all times on any road comprising more than one lane
B) 100m before and after a 'Keep Left Unless Overtaking' sign is displayed
C) On multi-lane roads with a speed limit of more than 80km/h, unless overtaking, turning right, making a U-turn, avoiding an obstacle, driving in congested traffic, driving in a special purpose lane or if there is a 'Left Lane Must Turn Left' sign or a left traffic arrow and the driver is not turning left.

Is it really true you only need to give way to vehicles on your right at a roundabout? 🚗

The rule is actually that you need to give way to any vehicle already in the roundabout, whether they're entering on your right, left or directly opposite you 🤯

So be aware of all vehicles in the roundabout before entering to avoid a crash 👀
