K93K dingo, hydraulic oil leak left drive parker 475cc wheel drive motor . Unfortunately was hoping just a Parker seal kit , should have sorted this , but after removing the rear hub , the dust / water seal , has popped out , and this has allowed sand / dirt etc make its way into the cone of the motor , where the Torrington bearing funs on the output shaft , the amount of sand that’s been grinding away through the bearing , and ultimately the shaft surface has been damaged . Bearings u/s . Option install a new parker drive motor for this puppy 🐶

A k93K in for various repairs . Main control bank spools , new orings going in , due to some pretty bad leaks . The right drive spool , was jammed in the bank , usually you can just lift them out without any tools . This bu**er needed a vice grip to wriggle it out . My suspicion was metal debris of some sort wedged the spool , side wall of the bank had something wedged near the lower part of control bank . I’ve managed to hone out the high spot . So with a new spool and fresh orings throughout the rest of the bank , we’ll stop all the Hyd oil weeps/ leaks .

I believe these caps also were used on the hydraulic tank filler spout / as its cover .. 👍 we’ve never stocked these , so , tracked down a reference to what they were back in the day . And flicked him that image , which he sourced from a local auto shop .

One of the jobs on Friday was replacing the orings on the main control valve bank on a clients K94Y Pro ( Hyd oil leak/ weeping )
Part of the job also requires the polishing out surface blemishes on the Hyd spool shafts .
I’ve found the use of a drill , a strip of 1200 wet n dry works a treat .
It can clean up a spools surface in around 10 seconds or so with the drill spinning up / with a little sq**rt of WD40 will do the trick .

Working on a k93 Kohler CH680-3096 spec this morning . In for a service , and a few repairs .
Noticed the plugs we removed were quite sooty/ black , and the engine didn’t quite sound right at low revs ( slight miss ) , with puffs of blackish smoke , and strong fuel smell 🤔. Like it’s over fueling . The first thing I look at ,is the emulsion tube orings , these tiny orings have a tendency over time to slowly become brittle / cracked etc . Which when the engine,is given a few revs , as mentioned, blackish smoke / strong fuel smell is a tell tail sign that these orings likely the over fuelling culprit.
Ref the distortion on one of those orings !
A quick replacement, of both orings , check and adjust the float position , and a blow out . Back together. Idles spot on 👌

We’ve got a Dingo Dumpa in thats had a few of the 1/2 UNC cap screws which retain the Parker drive motors into the chassis slowly work loose , and over time right rear wheel is on the p**s ! Unfortunately the way the fuel tank and motor are positioned , impossible to get at the two upper cap screws .
So out with the tank / engine .
I’ve opted to get 3-1/2 inch cap screws , tap out the crud , and run the cap screws right through the chassis , and fit cone lock nuts on the outside of the chassis
That motor won’t be going anywhere. Also heavy corroded 7/8 UNO /7/8 JIC ni***es are getting replaced , sealing orings upgraded to viton type . ☺️

My old tyre changing machines rotary turn table switching motor decided it didn’t want play ball ! 8 years of daily use , not to bad ! Original supplier now closed shop , so I didn’t have time to get the part . So a new unit had to be purchased . These are motorcycle tyre changing type , I’ve just adapted the 4 holding posts to suit holding the dingo / kanga / toro / bobcat type rims .

A very rare K93P IT Loader , notice the hydraulic contraption above the pump ?
Thats a hydraulic controlled level lift bucket system that was installed on limited machines for kennards hire , not sure if nationwide or just a few select kennards branches in WA . Anyways I’m removing this unit as turned out to be more trouble : not a user friendly gizmo.
