WHAT A MORNING!!!!!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today at Custom Cars & Coffee WA! Today was a bit of a surprise and the Dome was packed..
Despite the cloudy skies hanging around, the weather turned out to be absolutely perfect for a car meet. The Midvale Speed Dome looked fantastic, the atmosphere was on point, and the turnout was nothing short of incredible.
Today's lineup was a true box of chocolates β you never knew what was coming through the gates next! From classics, muscle cars, hot rods, JDM, Euros, bikes, exotics and everything in between, there was something for every automotive enthusiast to enjoy. That's exactly what makes this community so special.
Out in the paddock we were also treated to plenty of blown beasts getting a little rowdy, with the sound of superchargers and horsepower echoing around the venue all morning.
Most importantly, it was fantastic to see so many people catching up with friends, checking out new builds, sharing stories and celebrating the amazing car culture we have here in WA.
To our entrants, spectators, Torana Club volunteers, photographers, vendors and supporters β thank you for continuing to make Custom Cars & Coffee the special event it has become over the years.
We'll have plenty of photos coming soon, so keep an eye on the page and don't forget to tag your mates!
A Personal Note From Me
From the bottom of my heart, I would like to sincerely apologise to everyone who stood in line for a coffee this morning.
As I looked across and saw the size of the queue, I felt nothing but embarrassment. We work incredibly hard to provide a quality experience for our community, and unfortunately the level of food and beverage service provided today simply wasn't what was requested or expected.
Many of you know this has been an ongoing challenge, and I can assure you that I will continue to fight the good fight with VenuesWest to ensure our events receive the level of catering and service they deserve. A gathering of this size should have adequate coffee and food options available, and today fell short of that mark.
Thank you to everyone who remained patient and understanding throughout the morning.
On a more positive note, I'm incredibly excited about what lies ahead with our upcoming Cars and Coffee β Valley Sessions at Valley Social in the Swan Valley. One of the things that attracted me to the venue was the opportunity to offer the community something a little different β quality food, proper coffee, a relaxed atmosphere, and the chance to enjoy breakfast, while surrounded by great cars and great people in a beautiful setting.
I genuinely believe Valley Sessions can become a fantastic addition to the CC&C calendar and provide a different style of automotive gathering for those looking for a more relaxed experience.
We were scheduled to kick off our first Valley Sessions event this coming Sunday, however Mother Nature may have other ideas. At this stage the weather forecast for the back half of the week and into next weekend isn't looking particularly friendly for an outdoor event.
So hold that thought for now. Keep an eye on the page over the coming days as we monitor conditions and make a decision. If required, we'll simply move the event to the next available suitable date and make sure we launch Valley Sessions the right way.
As always, thank you for your support, patience and belief in what we do.
Until next time... Custom Cars and Coffee β run by Enthusiasts for Enthusiasts
