😂 Thanks to Perth Weather Live for the morning chuckle.

After yesterday’s thunder and a decent overnight soak, it looks like the weather system is still fully operational.

Guests are reminded there is no guarantee of further rain, wet shoes, muddy dog paws, or general weather chaos. 🌧️🐾

Departing today? Rolling up a wet annex is included at no extra charge. 😆 Arriving today? You may be saving time by not putting it up at all.

If you find water inside your van… well, the only real decision is towel or bucket. 😆

On the bright side… if it’s still raining, nature helps with the van and annexe wash and makes sure it’s evenly soaked anyway. 🌧️😂

Then again… it is winter in WA.

Interesting information just in from Bruce at the Perth Dome Authority...

Apparently he buggered up the programming this afternoon and accidentally activated the Perth Dome for the Northern Suburbs only.

As a result:

🌧️ Mandurah - Getting rain
🌧️ Rockingham - Getting rain
🌧️ Kwinana - Getting rain
🌧️ Henderson - Getting rain
☁️ Joondalup - "Radar says rain nearby"
☁️ Clarkson - Looking hopefully out the window every 3 minutes
☁️ Yanchep - Currently surviving on rumours and screenshots from the South

Bruce has assured us he is working tirelessly to fix the issue, but unfortunately he spilled a coffee on the control panel and now the dome appears to be stuck over anything north of the city.

In unrelated news, residents south of the river are being asked to stop posting photos of puddles as it is upsetting those in the northern suburbs.
