1991 Kawasaki KDX200😍. This one came in looking fairly good, inside was a different story! Powervalves in a million pieces, bore worn through the plating, hardening worn off the crank pin, crank seals so rock hard they fell out upon disassembly, etc etc etc. we sent the cylinder off for plating, ordered some billet stainless powervalves from BDK engineering, sent the cases off to for cleaning up. Full rebuild and replaced all linkage/swingarm bearings ready for the owner to fit back in the bike this weekend!

Quick KTM 85sx crankshaft rebuild. These bolts holding the stuffers in come loose on these from the factory. They must be checked every time you do a top end. This crank came from a local moto shop. If you’re a shop owner and need cranks built or cylinder heads serviced etc hit me up, I offer trade discount for those in the industry. Or if you want to build your own engine but don’t have the skills to do the crank hit me up.

Late one last night getting this little KT100s built. Didn’t get a cylinder back from honing till 430pm, then had to measure and port, machine a cylinder head, rebuild a carby set up ready to run it this morning. Made it to bed for midnight.

2007 YZ250 in for some love. Customer is doing the top end himself, so we tore down the engine and inspected everything.
For an old girl she was in great condition other than some wear to the crank shaft and the gearbox. Swapped out the stopper lever in the gearbox mechanism for a newer updated version, undercut the gearbox and fitted a complete crank along with new bearing sand seals etc. I’d usually re-use the stock crank and press a new rod in but this one had a lot of wear on the shafts where the R/H main sits which is common for these. Once again cheers to for the mint job blasting these cases and the quick turnaround. Don’t worry guys, the old clutch and ignition covers are just on to keep her clean until the customer fits some aftermarket ones.

Husqvarna TC85 engine buttoned up and ready to head back up north to Broome. Full engine rebuild accompanied with some vapour blasting to get rid of the red tan that comes with living up north. Thanks to for getting the engine looking clean again.
