Ian Jeffery has been involved in the motor industry as a mechanic for over 12 years he is 3rd generation mechanic, his family owns one of the oldest garages in Ireland, Lee Garage which was established in 1932 by his Grandad Donald Jeffery and for 85 years has been providing quality service to the people

of Cork City. Now currently owned by his Uncle Frampton Jeffery, this is where Ian completed his apprenticeship in Fiat & Alfa Romeo. With years of experience and having dual trades in Light Vehicles and Heavy Diesel Vehicles and working all over the world it seems like the right time to start his own garage.

🔧 IAN JEFFERY MOTORS — IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

After reviewing our services, customer expectations, and the general state of the cars that roll into the workshop every week, we’ve decided it’s time for a major change to how we operate.

From next month, Ian Jeffery Motors will officially be moving to a new service model:

SELF‑SERVICE MECHANICAL

That’s right — from now on, you fix your car.

We’ll provide the hoist, the tools, and a laminated sheet that says “good luck”.
You provide the sweat, the swearing, and the inevitable phone call asking why there’s a bolt left over.

This new model reflects the growing trend of “DIY empowerment” and “customer engagement”, and also the fact that we’re tired of explaining that the knocking noise is, in fact, the thing you ignored for six months.

Don’t worry — we’ll still be here.
Watching.
Judging.
Occasionally stepping in when you put the sump plug in backwards.
