Congratulations to the man behind this operation, Chris Cardy, on being awarded Life Membership of the Late Model Racing WA Association.

This recognition is a fitting tribute to the countless hours, dedication, and passion Chris has invested in Late Model racing over many years. His commitment to the sport, both on and off the track, has helped shape and strengthen the racing community in Western Australia.

It was also fantastic to see the picture include his brother, John. The two have worked side by side for many years, and having him in the photo made the occasion even more special. It’s a great reminder that achievements like this are built on the support, teamwork, and friendships formed along the way.

A thoroughly deserved honour—congratulations Chris, and thank you for everything you have done for Late Model racing. 👏🏁

Docol R8 is a certified Advanced High-Strength Steel (AHSS) tube engineered to provide a stronger, safer, and more consistent alternative to 4130 Chromoly tubing.

Designed specifically for motorsport fabrication, Docol allows builders to create lighter, stronger, and longer-lasting racecars with improved consistency and better utilization of suspension and chassis tuning components.

✅ Superior fatigue resistance
✅ Smaller, less brittle Heat Affected Zone (HAZ)
✅ Better elongation and crack resistance after welding
