🛠️ Trailer Hub Failure: Before & After 🛠️

Today I attended a customers trailer that had a bearing failure on the road and that had led to overheating and wear.

Signs of a failing hub can include wobbling wheels, strange noises, and even smoke near the wheel assembly. An impact can also cause a bearing to fail.

Ignoring or missing these signs can lead to bigger problems down the line or worse, a breakdown on the road.

After a thorough inspection, replacement of worn components, and proper lubrication, this customers hub is back to working condition!

A quick check over the other bearing revealed a few on the two trailers that required a reset, and another that required replacing.
