🏍️ Harley-Davidson Front Fender - Before & After
This Harley-Davidson owner is going to be stoked with this repair! 👌🔥
What looked like a nasty problem started with a deep dent and a smaller dent caused by an unfortunate camping-chair incident. The good news? There was no need for expensive panel replacement and paint.
This was a somewhat interesting dent for a Motorcycle Paintless Dent Removal (MPDR) repair. The larger dent was deep and sitting directly across a crown/body line curved section of the Harley-Davidson front fender, making metal movement and panel control considerably more complex.
When you're working on a Harley-Davidson, the expectation is that the finish needs to be right. The original paint and reflections leave nowhere to hide, so this repair needed to be carried out with extremely precise PDR techniques.
The result is in the before-and-after image. 👀
The damaged metal has been carefully returned to its original form while retaining the factory paint finish - no filling, no repainting and no unnecessary panel replacement.
While the fender was here, a few minor scuffs and marks were also taken care of with a 3-stage machine polish, bringing even more clarity back to the finish.
