Day 4 Walpole to Albany
(Delayed again, sorry!)

Started the day with a primary school visit, where the kids enjoyed seeing all the themed cars and some fun giveaways!

Then it was time to hit the road!

After getting a few kms under the belt, we stopped at the Team Thomas Red Vault "Roadside" Cafe, for some delicious treats, all of which were gluten free and taste absolutely amazing!!

After a quick snack, we hit some serious mud tracks which left Russell a different colour on exit than entry! The cleanup is going to fun 😬.

Afterwhich a straight run through state forrest to Muttenbird Beach for the 2026 wesCarpade Grand Prix.

We finished the night celebrating the 60th Birthday of a Wescarpade Veteran and Captain of Team Kombi, the illustrious Darren "Scary" Kenny in true 60's style!

What a massive day, fortunately Wednesday was a day of rest in Albany before we hit the tracks again Thursday!

DAY 3 UPDATE
(DELAYED)

Day 3 saw us back in the forests, travelling from Augusta to Walpole via Pemberton.

We had a great stop at the Pemberton tramway and visited the Cascades, then hit the road again and headed through the tall trees and an awesome powerline track.

Mud, dust, dirt and water - all part of the fun of wesCarpade!

After some fun in the mud and water this morning, we stopped off at The Pemberton Tramway for a quick tram ride and some lunch.
Big shout out to Brian and the team for your hospitality!

DAY 2 UPDATE

Manjimup to Augusta today - mostly offroad in some awesome forest country.

A few big hills, mud, puddles, and river crossings; but teamwork (including the Toyotas towing other cars) meant everyone got through safely and effectively.

Finished the day with a great drive through the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and down Caves Road via the Hillview Road lookout.

Bunbury to Manjimup - Done!

What a way to kick things off! Beautiful bush scenery, plenty of gravel tracks, and a good old muddy incline to keep things interesting. 😂

Enjoyable day hanging around the bush, getting Russell dirty and doing what we came here to do!

Today we’re heading for Augusta — let’s see what Day 2 has in store!

Another day, another adventure, all in the name of Camp Quality. ❤️
