Firstly massive thanks to Tony Mazzitelli Zack Bullpit Dan and Zack Bardot for never giving up on THE GAME this week absolute legends and Justin BYE for tune 👏❤️
BALLISTIC crank trigger decided to quit on way to pad before any pro cars even ran so figured we had around hour to fix and run in last group but plex decided because we drew 3rd place out that was only slot we could run in 😤
We were given option to run THE GAME again in pro finals but once again only in slot 3 we would have been at the line by around slot 4 or 5 but apparently thats no good either bahahah 🤣
Probably good thing imagine the sooking if we won that class in a car that wasnt entered into it beforehand 😁
As a promoter, I would never not allow a competitor time to fix their car and give them every opportunity, f**k the ball draw its 25k on the line and the crowd comes to see every pro car smash tyres 🤔
We won the championship for pro for the season even tho we didnt even skid last night apparently driving 20m nowhere near the pad gave us some points and enough to win that 🤣🤣🤣
Cars are parked up now for a while hopefully this f**k up of a government sorts out better fuel prices or be short season till Summernats for us at this rate 🙏🙏

We had a busy 2 weeks and a lot of late hours to get Ronny’s new car ready and the chance to tune it after it coming from over east and going over it, finishing getting the car buttoned up, new oil pump and timing set.

We went over and upgraded the whole fuel system after a pump giving up on us the first time we started it and we ditched the cometic headgaskets and went back to what we know work and keep it simple. A set of genuine LS headgaskets and a fresh set of faced heads and we were ready for a tune and dyno time.

Thanks to Mike at wa racing developments for running it up last minute and early hours in the morning.

Dylan's badass 80 series Cruiser went on the dyno last week for a tune up by Jeff at power managemnet solutions

Dylan recently completed a blower upgrade from his previous Magnuson Hearbeat 2300 to one of Harrop Engineering's 2650i Race-Port units. Along with Harrops Billet Fuel Rails and a full LSA front drive assembly that is setup with an 18% lower and an 80mm Top Pulley. The blower currently runs their standard 4-bolt throttle body snout with a new Nick Williams 102mm T/B as an upgrade from his previous stock 92mm T/B.
The engine itself is a stock-bottom-end L77 6.0L with a Crow 1287 camshaft and the usual Valve Springs, ARP Head Bolts and Oil Pump etc and behind that is the factory 5spd Manual Gearbox fitted with an NPC H/D Clutch and the factory 80-series diffs.

Engine management on this one is a FuelTech Australia FT550 and to go with this new combo the guys fitted and wired in a factory LSA bypass-valve control solenoid so we could tame it down to keep the little 6.0L happy. Which we used a common Boost vs RPM vs Ethanol Content control strategy to limit boost on 98 octane aswell as at low RPM and gradually increase it as Ethanol Content approaches 70% which is where it will see full boost.

So with it all bolted onto the hubs it copped a fresh set of plugs gapped down and a fuel pressure sensor supplied and installed and it was time to rev it up. Starting with 98 pump fuel and tuning various Ethanol Contents all the way to a max of E70%.

Rhys's LX Torana back on the dyno!

This time it was back with the Waterman cable drive mechanical fuel pump back in it to eliminate the chance of any fuel supply issues as well as the full exhaust getting the flick again in favour of the race-trim side pipes!

With all that sorted it really allowed those twin Turbosmart 6870C's to come to life on the Warspeed Dart 388ci LS combo without even breaking a sweat!

What a massive 3 days but they all are done and made the show!
2 engine swaps for the VT and VX, coilover front conversion, straighten rear end and rewrap for Ballistic Motorsport-Kar Kulture VL, and dan’s VL after looking at some data is ready for the weekend at Bindoon burnouts!

Massive thank to everyone that’s came down to Custom Wraps and Tinting to help us get them done and the late nights the past 3 nights!
