🏁 WSWA Round 1 – Greg Migro Classic Race Recap 🏁
Round 1 of the WSWA Greg Migro Classic definitely had its highs and lows!
Night One:
We started strong, charging from 7th up to 3rd in our heat race before the rain rolled in and unfortunately brought the night to an early end. The car felt fast and balanced, and we were confident heading into night two.
Night Two:
With a revised schedule, we had just the one heat race – and we made the most of it, taking the win and locking ourselves into P3 for the feature.
In the main event, we were right in the mix, battling hard for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th when contact with another car (suffering a mechanical failure) sent us to the rear in 16th with just 4 laps to go.
We regrouped, put it up on the top shelf, and drove it hard! Clawing our way back to an impressive 6th place finish with a damaged car.
Not the result we were after, but plenty of positives to take away. The car was fast, the crew was on point, and we’re already looking forward to Round 2!
