Consumer Protection have posted about a recall on Kelpro branded control arm.

The ball joint and outer arm may not be welded correctly meaning there is a risk of serious injury or death if the ball joint separates from the control arm whilst the vehicle is in use and causes a collision.

Affected part numbers: KCA8209, KCA8210

What you need to do:
✅Immediately take your vehicle to the place where the product was installed to arrange for an inspection.
✅You will receive a free replacement of any affected control arm.

Hyundai ix35 models between 2012 - 2013 have just had a major recall, with their recommendation to not have the car parked in a garage due to being a fire risk.

We have checked all the ix35 cars on our books, and none are affected. This is why we check recalls every service!
