Few weeks ago Sunraysia Safari was held in and around Wentworth NSW. This saw competitors take on 1000kms+ over 4 days of competitive rally with stage lengths varying from 70kms up to 250kms.
There was 2 Subaru’s entered under the Maximum Motorsport banner, Dean Herridge defending last years win in the 2014 Crosstrek/XV and Multiple Dakar and Finke race winner Toby Price driving a current spec WRX. On paper these cars should not have been near the front let alone leading from day one with multiple purpose built, Dakar spec vehicles in the field. Toby and Ben taking the win by 92 Seconds ahead of Dean and Sam.

The Safari WRX and 2 of the WRX challenge cars will be on display at the Penrith Service and Sales sites for the next month while also being prepared for the next round of the WRX challenge in the ARC. Come check them out!
