Nepean Motor Sports Club Ltd Nepean Raceway today occupies a unique place in motorcycle sport as the only Dirt Track venue still operating in the Sydney area. Bad language isn't good.

๐Ÿ›‘Don't put those bikes away yet! Another fantastic day of riding is coming up Sunday, May 3rd!๐Ÿ›‘

City of Penrith Motorcycle Club is teaming up with the Jerkyls for a fun filled day of riding: They have chosen to work with us this year for their annual Sunday Slide!

Membership is NOT required for this ride park day. If you have ever wanted to try out dirt track racing but you've always hesitated during our club days, this is the perfect opportunity to dip your toes in and try something new! This is a low pressure day with no racing, and a special class for our novice riders.

๐Ÿฅ˜Free breakfast and lunch will be provided on the day.

๐Ÿ”‘A few key points๐Ÿ”‘

๐Ÿ•น๏ธPre-2001 machines only. It's half the fun!

๐Ÿ‘ŽNo MX tyres; this is to keep the track in tip-top condition. Trials tyres are recommended, but dual purpose tyres are ok. General road tyres probably won't be the best, either, unless you really want to embrace the "Slide" in "Sunday Slide".

โš•๏ธIf you do not have a race license, a $10 fee MUST be paid for personal insurance.

๐ŸŽฉA helmet with any of the following approved standards - AS1698, Snell, JIS, FIM, ECE

๐ŸฅพOff-road boots meeting the following standards: be constructed of leather or other similarly durable material; and be of a length which must at least overlap the trousers with the rider in a normal seated riding position on the machine.

๐ŸฅฝGoggles or eye protection

๐ŸงคGloves

๐ŸฅผLong-sleeve jersey

๐Ÿ‘–Long pants

We would also highly recommend armour: particularly a back and/or chest protector.

Protective clothing of acceptable standards is the responsibility of the rider.
