This trip was Tristan’s first real chance to properly explore K’gari Island in the D-Max.
From water crossings and soft inland tracks to seeing the west side of the island, checking out Lake McKenzie and even getting some knee boarding in, this trip had a bit of everything.
The D-Max handled the island without an issue and made for the perfect setup to take on every part of the trip.
Definitely one to remember.

Tanisha’s first time 4WDing and what a place to start, K’gari Island.
Sand, mud, water crossings and hill climbs… the Jimny handled it all like a weapon.
First proper hit out with the new suspension setup and it definitely proved itself, getting her everywhere she needed to go.
Safe to say this won’t be the last trip.
