- Current driver's license (must have)
- Toolbox (must have)
- Roadworthy Certified (desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations

Since restrictions were lifted on vehicles routine maintenance we can now do your vehicle services

Road worthy certificate changes

Great NEWS

IF you needed a roadworthy check (RWC) as of the 4th of October Vicroads have now extended the timeframe between the first and second inspection conducted by an LVT from 7 to 14 days. If an item fails to meet the requirements, the vehicle tester will issue a rejection report. You’ll be given 14 days to repair or replace the rejected item/s and have them re-inspected.

Please note
The roadworthy inspection is a check of the vehicle to make sure that key components are in a good enough condition for safe road use.

The roadworthiness test isn’t a check of the mechanical reliability or general condition of a vehicle.

If you require a comprehensive check on the overall condition and reliability of the vehicle then you should arrange for a separate vehicle inspection.

WE ARE STILL OPEN!

Staff at Miles Mechanical are committed to making sure all our clients and staff stay safe in these unknowing and trying times.

We are maintaining correct COVID safe practices for you and your vehicle in accordance to stage 4 restrictions, including sanitising all touched surfaces before and after work is completed.

If you are dropping your vehicle off for repairs, we ask you to please leave your keys in the lock box on the gate and call our office to notify us of your arrival. In addition to this we offer a ‘contact free’ pick up and drop off service as required. Please call us to discuss.
