Serge brought his Alfa Romeo Alfetta to us for a check-over and tune.

This little Alfetta is fitted with a Busso 3.2 V6, equipped with ITBs and managed by a Haltech Elite 2500. It produced a healthy 201 hp at the wheels.

Definitely not something you see every day!

After a successful pre-purchase inspection, Daniel brought back in his V-Spec II R34 GTR for a few tidy upgrades.

The goal was to clean up the engine bay and take care of a bit of maintenance while we were at it.

The following was carried out
- Swapped in black silicone hoses
- Fitted new AN braided breather lines with billet press-in fittings on the rocker cover
- Relocated the fuel reg for a neater look
- Replaced all the accessory belts
- Adjusted the BOV for proper pressure release
- Made up a custom upgraded battery mount

Keep an eye out for further updates on this one!

It’s fair to say we’ve been slacking on social media posts and updates over the past two years. We’ve been insanely busy at the shop getting jobs done and cars back out on the streets. But it’s about time we try to catch up a bit and share what we’ve been up to!

We’ll start off with Allan’s Series 1 RX7, featuring a Daytona body kit.

The car came to us for an ECU wire-up and a few basic upgrades, but like most jobs that come in… it definitely blew out!

Here’s a quick rundown of some of the upgrades that took place:
- Hak Fabrications RX7 fuel tank with internal fuel pumps
- New fuel hard lines with billet fuel filter under the car
- New front-end fuel system featuring Injector Dynamics injectors, fuel rail, fuel reg, flex sensor, and braided lines throughout
- EFR8474 turbo upgrade with exhaust tweaks
- Intercooler piping
- Haltech Elite 1500 wire-up with wideband
- Haltech UC10 with CAN keypad
- Haltech IGN-1A coils
- FFE trigger kit
- Full engine protection sensor package
- EWP setup with coolant hoses

This punchy street setup made a healthy 270 rwkW on 14 psi with pump 98, with the potential for a lot more once ethanol is introduced.

I’m sure this thing will turn some heads when it’s cruising the streets or parked up at a car show!

This year’s 7s day was a huge success which was held at Ringwood Mazda and organised by Ben Wong ‘TRW7’. It was awesome to see the rotary community come together to make such a day possible!

The best part of the day for us was catching up and seeing our customers out and about enjoying their cars and making the most of the good weather we had!

I may have missed a few cars that were there and I do apologise as the day was jam packed!

Till the next one

We had an Audi S3 8P ‘EQNMTY’ came in for a few upgrades and a tune. We started by fitting up a Plex PBC for the ability to have different boost levels on the fly.

Next up was our general check over to make sure this car was ready to hit the dyno. The car came to us as a fresh forged motor with a Garret G25-660 strapped to it so we wanted to make sure everything so sound before we began.
Unfortunately we did come across a extensive list of things that needed to be rectified which would have resulted in this car not making it off the dyno. The following work was taken place

- Re plumbing the TTRS LPFP as non submersible fuel hose was used and had perished in the tank
- A second hand HPFP was fitted and rebuild with Autotech internals due to a cracked control solenoid and failed internal seal leaking fuel into the cam housing
- Further investigation found the engine was not correctly timed and the upgraded cam gear was not set correctly which was rectified
- Correct oil pressure switch was fitted to pair with the 1.8T oil pump upgraded. A few oil leaks were also sorted
- Numerous engine loom plugs were replaced due to missing locking tabs
- Remounted Torquebyte PM4 LPFP controller
- Complete diesel geek shifter overhaul and short throw shifter kit
- Super pro adjustable end links supplied and fitted

It was finally dyno time to compete a custom run in tune. As with all our tunes they are custom and mapped in house during the dyno session. This allows for full control of every function of the ecu which results in no gambling from unknown files and a car that runs and drives like factory even with upgraded throttle body’s, intakes, manifolds and RFD’s. We saw a nice healthy 240awkw on 15psi with pump 98. Once run in is complete it will be time to turn up this beast

Mods
- Nortech Performance manifold paired with a Garret G25-660
- Integrated Engineering inlet manifold
- Larger intake
- Upgraded high and low pressure fuel system
- Grams larger throttle body
- Upgraded intercooler
- Plex PBC

There are plenty more mods but to many to list

Stay tuned for this for future updates on this build 🔥

The following upgrades consist of
- Rebuild twin turbos
- BTP IGN-1A coil upgrade kit
- BTP FD engine protection package
- Haltech NTK wideband module

Korn’s immaculate RX7 FD came in for an oil leak and tune which quickly turned into quite an extensive list of upgrades and maintenance

As per usual we start off with a vehicle inspection and engine health check. We came across a few things that needed some TLC which was made priority. The following work took place

- Full major service
- Rear end overhaul including upgraded diff bushes, upgraded rear arm bushes and new pillow ball joints.
- Upgraded AN braided fuel lines front and back
- Custom baffled catch can
- Engine bay tidy up including powder coating components and removing twin turbo wiring

Setup consisting of

- 13B Bridgeport
- Haltech Elite 1500
- plazmaman.com intercooler
- EFR 9180

It was off to the dyno to hear this EFR sing. We were asked to keep the car tame (for now) so 300rwkw on 15psi ought to do the trick
