The GB Auto team is proud to support our Hunter Valley Operations Coordinator, Hayden Lawrie as he takes on the Run to Zero challenge this July.

Hayden is running 95km to raise awareness and funds for the Heart Foundation, helping support life-saving research and initiatives aimed at reducing the impact of heart disease in Australia.

Every kilometre run is a step towards a healthier future and a reminder of the importance of heart health.

Well done to Kenny from our Hunter branch. His strong work ethic and commitment to learning have made him a valued member of the team. This milestone also marks a dual trade achievement, adding to his existing High Voltage Electrician qualification — a testament to his expertise and drive to continually expand his skill set.

We are incredibly proud to see Blossom Fernandez featured in the May 2026 edition of Create by Engineers Australia.

Blossom’s journey, from her early curiosity about how things work to becoming an EV Development Engineer contributing to global standards, is a powerful example of what it means to keep showing up, keep asking questions, and keep choosing growth.

At GB Auto, we’re fortunate to have Blossom contributing to groundbreaking work, including electrification projects in the mining sector and helping shape the future of EV safety and standards in Australia. Beyond her technical achievements, Blossom is also a 2026 Women in Automotive Changemaker Ambassador, mentoring and inspiring the next generation of engineers and advocating for diversity in STEM.

We’re incredibly grateful to have received this beautiful hand‑drawn card and certificate of recognition from in Orange 💙

Recently, we were proud to donate two LED Driving Lights to support the school’s fete. Seeing the effort and creativity in this artwork by Lucas Sheehan, along with the thoughtful message from Amelia Gray, truly means a lot to our team.

Thank you to the students and staff for letting us be a small part of such a great event. It’s an honour to support local initiatives that bring people together.

Powered up and saving the day!

GB Auto was proud to support the Orange District Primary School Sports Association District Athletics Carnival on Friday—and what a day it turned out to be!

The Ford Lightning’s massive battery and onboard power points kept things running smoothly, powering a computer monitor, laptop, and printer throughout the event.

Then, when the unexpected happened and the Timing Gates ran out of battery… the Lightning stepped in and saved the day!

A perfect example of how innovation and reliability can make all the difference when it matters most.
