Factory radios don’t just turn the bass down. They high-pass the signal, pile on EQ, and flatten the low end so cheap stock speakers don't crumble. The KEY500.1 is the amp that puts accuracy back into the signal chain.
It’s a mono amplifier and DSP in the same chassis. Play KICKER’s test tones, press the button, and the auto EQ measures the incoming signal, pulls down the peaks, and restores the bass extension the radio removed. What you hear is a linear and even low-frequency response instead of a scooped factory curve with a sub hanging off the bottom of it.
Power is 150 watts RMS at 4 ohms, 300 at 2 ohms, and 500 at 1 ohm, with the control to use it cleanly. A 24 dB low-pass sweeps from 40 to 160 Hz, the subsonic filter runs 10 to 40 Hz, and gain plus bass boost stay available when you want to finish the tune by ear. DC-offset auto turn-on and start-stop compatibility keep the install smooth in late-model cars, trucks, and SUVs.
Keep the factory radio. Give the system a high-fidelity low end that stays tight, balanced, and musical.
