Round 3 – Cumberland Ford/ Super4s. Friday Night Eastern Creek.
With 70 entries, it was one of the biggest four-stroke kart meetings in New South Wales, and the atmosphere throughout the night was outstanding. From first-time competitors to experienced racers, everyone contributed to an event that showcased just how strong the four-stroke karting community has become.
4SS heavy attracted massive 26 entries and awesome racing.
The Tillotson Light Final produced one of the closest finishes you'll see anywhere.
Karting Solutions driver Jake claimed victory, with Jonathan from Karting HQ finishing second and our own Liam completing the podium in third. The top three crossed the finish line separated by just 0.058 seconds after an incredible race that demonstrated not only fantastic speed but also exceptional driving standards and mutual respect between the competitors.
Congratulations to all three drivers for putting on such a memorable race.
Teamwork Behind the Scenes
One result that doesn't appear on the timing sheets was Liam's commitment to the team.
Before the final, Liam spent time working with Jake on setup changes, helping fine-tune the kart before the race. That's the sort of teamwork that often goes unnoticed, but it's a great example of the support and commitment we value within Karting Solutions.
Our third team driver, Bethany, continued to improve throughout the night and came home with a strong 5th place finish in another competitive field.
The Future of 4-Stroke Karting
One of the highlights of the evening was seeing so many new faces joining the four-stroke community.
A special congratulations to Cooper, Romeo and Jordan on competing in their first four-stroke race meeting. We hope you enjoyed the experience and look forward to seeing you all back on the grid again soon and continue to build the junior classes
Thank You
A huge thank you to Steve and the team at Cumberland Ford for supporting the event. Their ongoing support helps make meetings like this possible and is greatly appreciated by everyone involved.
Thanks to Sportsmad RV for keeping the team looking like the great team we are.
Most importantly, thank you to all of the officials and volunteers who gave up their Friday evening to run another outstanding event. Without your time, effort and dedication, nights like this simply wouldn't happen.
Finally, congratulations to every competitor, family and team that attended. Whether you finished on the podium, achieved a personal best, or simply enjoyed your first race meeting, you all helped make Round 3 a fantastic night of racing.
We're already looking forward to the next round.
