Auto Parts Service Team Member (Automotive Trade) Full-Time

⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
💰Pay: $60,153 / year
📍 Location: Northern Brisbane
About the Opportunity
APK Auto Parts is a growing and busy automotive under car parts supplier to mechanical trade business, specialising in brake and clutch. Every day we provide industry leading customer service, pricing, quality, and supply to mechanical businesses in Brisbane’s north.
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, hands-on team member who wants more than “just a job” Someone who wants to develop into a well-rounded, respected part of a busy automotive trade business.
This position is best suited to someone who enjoys variety, staying active through the day, and taking pride in being the kind of person others can rely on.
The Role
As an Auto Parts Service Team Member, you’ll be a key part of the daily operation. Helping make sure our customers receive the right parts, on time, every time.
This is a true all-rounder role where you’ll gain experience across multiple areas of the business. While deliveries and hands-on duties make up a large portion of the day, this role is far more than just driving or store work. You’ll be involved in the full flow of our parts operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Delivering parts to local mechanical workshops in a company vehicle
• Picking, packing, receipting and putting away stock
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Maintaining a clean, organised workspace
• Helping with general upkeep such as washing vehicles, sweeping, and tidying shared areas
• Assisting with basic PC tasks like printing orders, entering shipping details, and responding to simple messages
• Working closely with our team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service

Who We’re Looking For
We need someone who fits well with a small, busy, dependable team. The right person will be:
• Consistent, punctual, and extremely reliable
• Friendly, presentable, and comfortable interacting with customers
• Motivated with a strong “pitch in wherever needed” work ethic
• Happy to take direction and follow multi-step verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a role where accuracy and correct part handling are essential
Essential Requirements
You must have ALL of the following to be a suitable fit:
• Ability to competently use and follow Google Maps
• Current valid car licence (manual preferred)
• Ability to handle alpha-numeric part numbers with accuracy
• Confidence with basic PC tasks
• Physically able to lift 10–15 kg frequently and up to 25 kg occasionally
• Able to regularly enter/exit a small hatchback (can be challenging for taller applicants)
• Willingness to perform general upkeep tasks during quiet periods
• Strong reliability - your contribution has a direct, visible impact on the whole team
