REMINDER: School Zones return from today!

🚘🎒 Reminder for all drivers that school zones are in force from next week as Term 1 kicks off in NSW.

➡️ Eastern division from 27 January 2026
⬅️ Western division from 3 February 2026

⏰ Most school zones operate 8–9.30am and 2.30–4pm, so expect some delays and allow extra time to get to your destination during these times.

...Heigh Ho .....Heigh ho.... its off to Roundtrip we go!!

From 29 June 2024, ServicesNSW will only accept learner driver hours logged in the Roundtrip app or hardcopy log books. Records from the Licence Ready app will no longer be accepted.

If you are still using the Licence Ready app to record your learner log book hours, you will be able to log hours and submit your completed log book up to and including the 28 June 2024. If you are not able to do this by 28th June 2024 you will need to choose one of the following options to log your hours moving forward:
1. Submit your hours via the official Roundtrip app, or
2. Record your hours via a paper log book from a Service NSW centre.

The Safer Drivers Course is a great government initiative, offering heavily subsidised Driver Training for Learners (who have already logged 50 hours of driving ). The course aims to better prepare learners for a safe transition to solo driving on their provisional licence, a time when the risk of a casualty crash increases by at least 6 fold. They complete a 3 hour classroom workshop, a 2 hour in-car coaching session and receive a 20 hour logbook bonus... all for $140!
