We had the pleasure of getting this classic MG back to its best.

While we love our 1000hp builds, we treated this beauty to a bit of a tickle on the carburetors and a timing adjustment to restore its crisp throttle response and street manners.

It is now the perfect weekend cruiser once again.

It must be yellow car season here at M-Tek Automotive! This stunning LC Torana came into the workshop to get those final details sorted and a proper tune-up before heading off for its roadworthy. 

There is nothing quite like the look of a classic Holden engine bay when it’s been put together with this much care. We spent some time under the hood ensuring everything was dialed in for reliable street duties. 
Whether it is adjusting the carby for better drivability or sorting out those final mechanical gremlins, we make sure every build leaves here with the manners it deserves.

This LC is now looking sharp and running even better, ready to hit the road and turn heads. 

A massive thank you to the owner for trusting us to get this classic over the finish line. We love seeing these old-school legends get back on the road where they belong!

200 Series LandCruiser in for a serious upgrade 🔥

Fitted with a King Brown Exhaust and dialled in with a custom tune, delivering better performance and a more controlled transmission for towing.

Rear upgraded with an system, giving it better load handling, towing capability, and on-the-fly adjustability.

Complete onboard air setup with a clean install front to back, plus a dash-mounted ScanGauge 3, giving full control at the driver’s fingertips.

We had this unique rear engine Hyabusa powered Westfield XTR build in for a check over after the owner modified a few components. After a few power runs and a bit of a tickle on the fuel map, it’s running mint and sounding absolutely epic.

This setup is a serious handful and heads to Lakeside to clock some super quick times, so keep your eyes peeled.

Hellcat Swapped Gladiator Dialed In!

Recently we had this wild Jeep Gladiator in the shop to sort out some running concerns. It’s not every day you see a TRX-style heart transplant, but this beast is rocking a full Hellcat engine conversion.

After some diagnostics, we found the fuel supply wasn’t keeping up with the demands of that massive supercharger. We replaced the fuel pump and got to work on the dyno.

The result is a strong 578HP at the hubs. With the fueling sorted and the tune dialed in, it now has the instant throttle response you expect from a positive displacement blower, making it an absolute handful on the road.

This is the ultimate street and trail package with the driving manners to match.

730HP 2JZ and 8 gears the perfect combination of pure JDM goodness with a dab of German refinement! 🇯🇵⚡
We’ve just finished off the final touches on Chris’s Toyota JZX 100 Chaser, and this thing is a weapon. The highlight of this build is the ZF 8HP 8-speed gearbox conversion, a setup that completely transforms the JZX100 platform with lightning-fast shifts and modern driveability.

An Upgrade in ECU was required so we wired in a Elite 2500 ECU alongside a dedicated Transmission ECU to handle the 8-speed’s logic. We also converted the car to Drive by Wire (DBW), allowing for precise throttle blips and seamless integration between the engine and the new gearbox.

After bolting it to the dyno, we dialed it into a stout 730HP at the hubs. Setting up shift cuts while banging through the gears on the Dyno is something else, the power delivery is relentless, and it stays In boost through every single shift. It’s the perfect blend of classic JDM style and performance with 21st century drivetrain technology. With 8th gear allowing great fuel economy on long trips this combo really is the best of all worlds

Matt's cool as Barra powered XC Falcon was dropped off to have the Barra, BTR auto and haltech combo dialed in before it hit the streets after a big face lift.

Keeping in mind the stock BTR 4 speed auto's limits we bolted the vehicle to the dyno and carried out some tuning. After a few power runs on 18 psi we ran out of fuel system at 564hp at only 5000rpm. As this is also way above the safe level for the gearbox we removed the wastegate and made a spring change to drop some boost out of it. To end up with 460hp on 12psi more then enough to punch this cruiser along.

Along with the engine came the gearbox setup and tuning. A massive shout out to Bill from Hootons Harnesses . The man is a genius and extremely generous with his time. He logged on to setup the gearbox with some custom firmware then helped with some tuning tips and tricks to get it shifting like oem. Anyone looking for anything Ford conversation ECU/Wiring related 100% recommend them
