Chase recently bought us an L98 that he had purchased for his ultra tidy vl commodore.
We where told it had a glide with a 5k stall and that drivablility wasnt an isssue but max power and future plans for nitrous where the goals.
We fitted a crow cams 238/250 Camshaft with double valve springs, rocker triunion upgrade, heavy duty pushrods, ls7 lifter a double row timing chain set and a heavy duty oil pump. We also fitted all new genuine gaskets including head gaskets and a set of arp head bolts.
Once it was back togeather it was ready for chase and his dad to take it home and fit it all up with a goal of power cruise 100
Unfortunately some delays ment it wasnt ready for power cruise but a week later it was on the dyno getting tuned ready for a frydays event at Queensland raceway.
With a bit of a tickle on the carby and some setup on the msd we saw 455hp at 6900rpm through a bit convertor and a power glide.
Awesome work on an outstanding first car chase we hope you have years of fun out of it and good to see the young guys keeping these older cars front and centre.
