Here’s a few before and after pics of bay kombi seats…. The general misconception about kombi seats is they are uncomfortable. This comes from seats breaking springs and having home job repairs over the years like stuffing as much foam/rags and whatever they can get their hands on under the covers to try to make them comfortable… this leads to people fitting j*p seats from the wreckers that just aren’t suitable for the seating position and butchering the factory rails etc. Thing is, most have never sat in a kombi seat that’s repaired and restored properly. Give the bay seats a chance! They are mostly over 50 years old and need some love. You will not be disappointed.

This slick low bay came from Hollywood Restorations Australia for seats and carpet and ended up leaving with a full interior including oatmeal German square weave carpet and a brand new Kustomkombi full width rocknroll bed. All made in house. My favourite for the year so far!

Finally put an interior in my own car 😂 tried to do my own modified version of a factory style interior. I’m really happy with how it turned out but it took a few 18hr days to get it done in time for rockynats.
