Big news from Ocean Covers! 🎉

After 14 years at the beautiful Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, we have moved to the Central Coast— to a massive workshop and showroom.

It’s been quite an adventure moving and setting up our new premises, but we are loving our new space!

We will continue servicing Pittwater and Sydney Harbour as always. And for anyone on the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie, we are now right on your doorstep!

Did you know?
We made Alfred 1's bimini 12 years ago — and it’s still going strong!

After a major refit of the famous Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club committee boat this year, the bimini was left just as it is!

Made using marine-grade Sunbrella acrylic canvas with Tenara thread, it has been through many, many Pittwater storms over the years.

One of our favourite sights every morning from the ferry!
Even after yesterday's southerly blast, this beautiful 56ft wooden boat yawl is still nice and snug under her Ocean Covers' custom made WeatherMax overall cover, build a few years ago.

We recently completed a custom stainless steel bimini structure and canvas for a Hallberg Rassy 46, integrating six flexible Solbian solar panels (for a total of 744W) for sustainable energy generation during long offshore passages.

Ocean Covers boat cover combo!
Our WeatherMax overall cover zips into a custom Subrella canvas boom bag. Zips are sewn on to the boom bag reinforced batten pockets for extra strength, and are UV protected by a Sunbrella canvas flap.
The 4-piece design (2 mid-ship, 1 bow, 1 stern) makes it easy to fit and the midship section can be used individually.

Lush new upholstery just installed on this lovely Apreamare 12. This was a complete new project, including new marine plywood curved backs, fiberglassed and sealed, new reticulated foam and Capri marine vinyl.

From patterning and marking to flat stitching, top stitching and binding... There are many steps involved in joining and reinforcing panels, pockets and zips that make each of our bimini a one off custom-made cover, that will last you for many summers and many storms...!
