Another episode of “How to F* Your Boat” 😂

Today’s lesson:

Buy a beautiful dark blue boat… Then let the Aussie sun slowly turn it into a chalkboard.
Oxidation doesn’t happen overnight, and bringing heavily oxidised gelcoat back isn’t always a “QUICK WAX”.
It’s all about removing the dead surface correctly, refining it, then protecting what’s underneath.

The good news?

That blue was still hiding under there. 😏⚓

Its not all about cleaning those bum's under water..

Today we needed to remove a propeller off this catamaran.. Unfortunately the prop was spinning on the shaft..

Will get it sorted and return in a few days 💪

We Didn’t Just Antifoul It… We Gave Her the Full Spa Day ⚓🔥

This Bavaria came in for a proper birthday.

We stripped the underwater hull right back, repainted it, cut and polished the topsides, and finished it off with fresh PropSpeed on the running gear.

A lot of prep. A lot of sanding. A lot of dirty work.
But that finish? Worth every minute. 👌

From tired below the waterline to clean, sharp and ready to get salty again.

Nobody talks about the absolute sh*t fight getting the old stuff off. 😂

You’re only going to paint over it anyway… so just paint over it. 🤷‍♂️😂

Antifouling is easy.
Forget sanding. Forget preparation.
Just slap another coat over whatever’s already there and hope for the best.
Barnacles, slime, loose paint — it all adds texture.
And texture makes you faster. 👌
