SNOW CAN BE DANGEROUS
POSSIBLE SNOW/SLEET EXTREME WEATHER EVENT TUESDAY-WEDNESDAY
With the cold weather looming and the potential for snow down to 200-300 metres locally, we thought it wise to remind drivers that Ice and snow on the road is DANGEROUS and can result in you losing control of your vehicle.
Especially if you are inexperienced in alpine driving.
This is very much an out of the ordinary possible snow event with the possibility of snow coming so low possibly even as low as Sunbury itself, we have included a list of local towns and their heights to give our community an indication of how low snow might be early to mid next week.(See below)
If you are heading up to Mt Macedon or anywhere there may be snow please drive with caution and follow police and VicRoads instructions and road blocks. They are there for your safety do not drive on roads covered in snow.
