Hi all,

Well it is now our time to say goodbye to all. I have decided to hang up the keys on the hook and do the retirement thing.

I have had the privilege to serve the community for many years as your local Driving Instructor and have had an absolute blast doing so. I would so like to thank the whole local community for the privilege of teaching many of our young adults how to drive and hoping that they all came away with some skills on driving safely.
I have had many careers over my time in the work force but none have given me the joy and fulfilment as this one.

Thank you all and please continue to Drive Safe For Life.

Hi all.

Marching on to March here we come.

So much has happened again since our last post. We have said goodbye to Harry the Hyundai. Paul was teaching manual in Harry for three years but has now decided to focus on auto. He has found he could not keep up with demand for both manual and auto so had to choose. Tania is our Number 1 Manual teacher now and with several years under her belt of teaching manual is well positioned to carry on the mantal. Paul commented recently that people are calling asking for Tania instead of him which he said bruised his ego but could understand why😊.

Congratulations to all who have passed their P’s test recently and we wish you all safe driving for life.

Hi all.

School holidays about to start. Where has this year gone already! Wow only three months to Christmas. OMG.

Thank you all again for being such a great and supportive group of people. It was brought to my attention recently that we are on the Greenbank Community Facebook. People are leaving such generous reviews about us and recommending us to others. Thank you for this privilege. We achieve most of our business through word of mouth and the way in which you all support us is truly humbling. We will always strive to give the best possible support and teaching to all our students and always refresh and update our teaching process.
Congratulations to all our recent achievers getting their P license and as always we wish you safe driving for life.

Hi all.
Here we are half way through the year. Gosh it goes so quick.
We have been “off line” for a number of weeks, for various reasons, and are so glad to be back at almost full strength again. Thank you to all our loyal clients for being patient with us and we will do our best to continue our best offerings to you at all times.
We have a number of new competitors in the area now and we welcome them and hope like us they strive to give you the best service and value for money. Always remember that you are the client and your paying the money for the service. Driving Instructors operate under a strict code of conduct and I have attached it to his post for your interest.
A huge congratulations to all our students who passed their tests recently. We are always so proud for you. To those who did not pass the first time, remember we all learn from our errors and we move on. You will succeed.

To all our valued clients. From the 15th April until the 24th of May, Pass Plus Training Academy will be closed. We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but it is something that we must do. From the 25th of May we will be back and fully operating and hope that you will be able to support us.

Hi all.

It’s been a while since I last posted but as per usual it been a little bit hectic.

We have all been working through so many challenges over the past several months with Covid, flooding etc but I must say it is so nice to see so many smiling faces still out there. You all must take a moment every now and then and look back, pat yourselves on your backs and say look at me.

We have been steadily doing our lessons and steadily saying our goodbyes to our passing students. We all get a bit of a tear in our eye when we see our students passing their P’s test and going on in life. We feel so privileged to have been part of their life education process. As always thank you for that privilege from all of us at Pass Plus.

Well we are getting closer to Christmas and end of school for another year. Wow it has travelled so fast.

Hi all.

Well we are all still tracking along and although we have Covid to deal with it is impressive to see all our students complying with the face mask instructions and doing their bit to keep our community as safe as we all can.

The Department of transport have just sent us a draft code of conduct for our industry and while we are already meeting and exceeding their standards currently the new code of conduct is a great improvement also. We also meet and exceed this standard so please always feel safe in the knowledge that Pass Plus Training Academy will always operate to the highest standards of our industry and beyond. Cong adulations to all our students who have passed this month and a special congratulations to Tania our Instructor who just took possession of her new Mazda CX3 now affectionately known as Mavis☺

The new standard of students needing to complete their Hazard Perception Test HPT is now in place and it is so cool to see all our students completing this before they do their practical driving test. If you would like more information on this, don’t hesitate to contact us and we can further explain. In conjunction with this we have put together a Student check list for approaching their test. We give this out to every student when they reach 80 hours in the logged hours or on request.

Hi all,

So here we are in June 2021. Wow what a twelve months we have all experienced. Well done to everyone for keeping yourselves safe and all of us working together to beat the Covid virus. I am so grateful for all the things we almost took for granted in the past. Going to the movies, going out to dinner, dare I say it, even going shopping ☺

Thank you all for your past and present support for us, we have been trying our best to accommodate all your needs and requirements for lessons and training. You have all been so wonderful to us we cannot thank you enough.

We have (as mentioned in our last post), lifted the moratorium on accepting new students. We were so busy over the past six months we felt it to be the right thing to stop our intake of students so we could supply the best possible service to the students we had committed to and now the back log is caught up, we are able to offer that same commitment to new students who would like to come on board with us.

Congratulations to all our students who have passed since our last post and we wish you all the safe driving for life.

Hi All.

We are now in the nuts and bolts of 2021. Students in years 11 and 12 are telling us the assessments are piling up and block exams are a hassle. When we think about it, we should take a few minutes out to let them know how great they are doing. There is a lot for these guys to get through and while the stress and pressure is there we are so happy to be able to participate in their year of growth.
We are also very happy to announce we are fully back on board with taking in new clients. We had a period there where it was pretty hectic for us too. So as reported in our last post we decided to stop taking in new clients until the back log was cleared and the students we had committed to already were on their way to their P’s. Thanks to all for your patience with us over this time.

Congratulations to all our students who passed their P’s test and to those who did not, we just have to learn from our mistakes, fix it and go again. You all are champions in our eyes.

So, bring on the second half of the year and be in the most positive mind we can be. Remember, you can only do your best and if your best is not good enough, so be it☺

Hi all,

We are heading back to the second term of school, wow, were has the time gone? So busy for us at present. With the COVID lock down and re open etc it has gone crazy. I have to say that when we started Pass Plus Training Academy we wanted to be different to the rest. Well we are but unfortunately over the past few weeks we have let the team down. By this I mean we have been unable to respond to all our clients in an appropriate time and at times it has been up to 2 days before we have responded to inquiries. Not only that we have had to stop taking bookings as we have been booked fully for up to 4 weeks in advance. For this we are truly sorry.

With this we decided to do what we believe was the right thing by all our clients and stop booking in new clients for one month. The idea is to ensure our current clients have the best opportunity to do their lessons and also, fit in to their requirements. Additionally we are now in the position to offer new clients the continuity of service we have prided ourselves in over the past several years. So with that, thank you to all our current clients who have worked with us and we welcome all our new clients to come.

As always we congratulate all our clients who have passed their P’s test and wish them all, safe driving for life.

We also would like to point out that the Queensland Department of Transport have now advised that all Learner drivers have to have completed their hazard perception test (HPT) prior to sitting their practical driving test. Otherwise they would not be able to collect their provisional licence until the HPT is completed.
