Well that’s a headache job finally done 🤦 broken track pin removed damaged bit replaced and back togethor. Had to get adaptors and tooling made to make the track press supplied by customer do the job. bent my tooling but we got there 👍 always a good test of problem solving when you fix s**t solomin the sticks 👌

I have been lucky enough to build a great customer base . One customer in particular is generous enough to lend machinery to me when it’s between jobs👌 It works both ways though don’t worry😉 I’m the one he rings when s**ts broke 200km away
At 8pm on a sat night 😂. Fit a led work light and get some trees cleared.👍🍺

Been keeping busy and enjoying the variety bit a carnage on a d8 dozer, fuel system faults on Mack, electrical gremlins on a cat 980h, servicingand repairs on trucks and earthmoving gear, preventative maintenance and breakdowns on ag gear. Trip down past kojonup late one sat night for a long term customers road truck. here there and everywhere, big list of maintenance and repairs for a long term customer and popo over the coming days👍 occasionally coming home to ripper sunsets when actually home before dark👌can’t beat country life great people great scenery.

New engine arrived so the fit up begins new fan drive pullies and belt. New hoses as required, tidy up wiring and put it all back togethor. Then refit inner boom with new hoses before a brake system rebuild n front and rear diffs due to seal failure after wrong fluid was used. Common occurrence unfortunately as many do not realise that brake fluid is a no go in n these machines. Few more hours here. Then full set of new wheel bearing to do on trailer in cuballing on the way home. Big day out highbury way tomorrow then back out to Cubi way to begin getting Scania engine in its new home. Busy busy … 🍻😆

Making progress on the Scania again. Another few hours and should have engine re assembly done🤞 . Then it’s getting bac and putting engine in truck and all the fun and reconnection that go with it 👌Did someone say it’s nearly harvest time😖 if only there was 25 hours in a day and 8 days in a week. And the re assembly continues . Cam and lifter replacement any one of go has down one knows how much s**t has to come off 🤨. Full reseal on engine before it goes in. Heads back on now to torque them down … 8 heads, 8 bolts per head and a 4 step torque process … that’s a lot of times 🤦😂🍺
