Thank you to all the volunteers, family and friends who put in a monumental effort controlling and extinguishing the scrub fire we had on our property last week. We were humbled by the generosity of the Naracoorte and outlying community. We believe there were over 40 CFS units, aerial support, dozers, tractors and multiple private fire units. Thank you to everyone that came out to help, phoned to check in, offered paddocks for animals, offered equipment, and delivered food and drinks. Thank you to The Naracoorte Pizza House for feeding us on Wednesday night. Because of this combined community effort, we sustained no structural damage, only scrub and some fencing was burnt.
