By the time it was removed, the bearing had completely fallen apart, definitely not something you want happening while you’re on the road.

A failing wheel bearing can cause excessive wheel movement, noise and vibration, and if left unattended can lead to further damage and become a serious safety concern.

This is why regular servicing and thorough inspections matter. Finding wear before it reaches this point can save you from a much bigger problem.

🔧 Routine Service | Toyota Yaris

A routine service is more than just changing the oil.

This Toyota Yaris came in for its scheduled service and a comprehensive vehicle inspection. During the inspection, Connor identified a number of maintenance items that needed attention including a leaking wheel cylinder, worn drive belt, poor wipers, dirty cabin filter and a few other maintenance items.

With the customer’s approval, we were able to take care of these while the vehicle was already in the workshop.

We also noted a few items to monitor and plan for in the future, including tyres, suspension components and a minor oil weep.

That’s why we inspect the whole vehicle when it comes in for servicing so you know what needs attention now, what can wait, and what you may need to budget for down the track.

✅ Repairs completed with approval
✅ Future maintenance identified
✅ Vehicle test driven and ready to go
