LET US REINTRODUCE OURSELVES AND LET YOU KNOW OUR STORY
We have gained a lot of new followers since we made the top 50 best mechanic's on the Sunshine Coast through the Sunshine Coast Daily Newspaper so thought we would just take the opportunity to say hi and share our story for the people that are new here.
Hi we are Adam and Natasha the husband and wife team that own and operate Adam's Automotive Centre along with our team Rodney and Jimi. We have a rich history in the local area. Natasha was born at the Nambour hospital and it is the long running joke that she rolled to the bottom of the hill and hasn't moved since. Natasha's connection to the automotive industry in Nambour goes way back to before she was even born with her Grandfather Joe Webster owning Price Motors in the 1970's on Price St. When her Grandfather decided to retire her Father Mark Webster took over the reins of the business and made it his own. But apparently retirement for her Grandfather was starting another business on Price St that he run for about 10 years before selling it on. That business still operates to this day. Adam moved to the Sunshine Coast at a very young age with his family. Adam always had a passion for cars. His parents owned Upton's Motor Village a car yard at Yandina. Adam then went on to become first a school based trainee at Toyota before trying his hand at farm equipment and tractors it was while working here he caught the eye of Natasha who was working at the local takeaway shop at the time after school. They started dating at just 15 and 16 years old and the rest they say is history. Adam then became a full time apprentice at Pacific Ford K***a Park. Under Ford Adam became a fully qualified mechanic. After the arrival of his first daughter and getting married Adam made the decision to go and work for his parents who had just opened up a workshop at Yandina. After another daughter and a number of years Adam and Natasha ended up working side by side in the workshop Natasha as the receptionist and Adam as the workshop manager. There professional relationship proving to be just as strong as there private one. Unfortunately COVID-19 hit and both Natasha and Adam were made redundant from there jobs. Adam took some time to reflect on what he wished to do and after a week or so deliberation decided to open Adam's Automotive Centre. Together Adam and Natasha along with the help of family and friends built the reception area and got the workshop set up and ready to go. Adam and Natasha started from scratch and worked hard to make it what it is today. It started with just Adam, Natasha, 1 hoist and 1 loan car (Larry) to now having 4 hoists, 3 loan cars and 2 staff. And honestly that is all thanks to word of mouth recommendations from people who gave Adam's Automotive Centre a go and are thrilled with the service. Adam's Automotive Centre has been open for over 6 years now and Adam and Natasha are thrilled to be able to serve the local community and keep your vehicles running and safe on the roads. Adam also has been recognised for his work on classic cars and now with Rodney on board have even more valuable knowledge. We take care of all your servicing and repair needs. We work on a whole range of vehicles including cars, 4X4's, light trucks and light vans and can do servicing including new vehicle logbook servicing, mechanical repairs including brakes, clutch, suspension, roadworthy and even A/C regas and repairs.
