Staying safe at work isn’t just about PPE, it starts from within.

When your body is running low on fluids or fuel, fatigue sets in faster, increasing the risk of mistakes and injuries.

✅ Stay Hydrated
• Drink water regularly throughout your shift, not just when you feel thirsty
• Increase intake in hot or physically demanding conditions

✅ Eat to Perform
• Start your day with a balanced meal
• Choose nutritious snacks to maintain energy levels
• Avoid skipping meals, it can lead to fatigue and poor concentration

✅ Watch for Warning Signs
• Headaches, dizziness, or fatigue can be signs of dehydration
• Low energy or lack of focus may indicate poor nutrition

💡 Remember: A well-fuelled body is a safer, more productive body.
Stay hydrated, eat well, and look out for your mates

New Client. New Equipment.💧

It’s been a long time since the team had to go through a full new-client mobilisation process, including prequals, compliance, inductions and all the fun stuff.

This potable water truck is the first in our fleet, followed by the delivery of its sister truck earlier this week.

The unit will be supporting site operations across crib huts, admin buildings, wash houses, drills, and everything in between.

This one was a full team effort across our workshop, compliance, admin, and field teams to get it mobilised and operational on time.

Being “fit for work” means more than just showing up. It’s about making sure your body and mind are ready to perform the job safely and effectively every day.

✅ Did you get enough rest?
✅ Are you properly hydrated and fuelled?
✅ Are you physically capable of completing today’s tasks safely?
✅ Are any medications affecting your alertness, coordination, or reaction time?

Fatigue, dehydration, illness, and even certain medications can increase the risk of injury, especially in demanding work environments. Some medications can cause drowsiness, reduced focus, or slower reactions, which can impact your and your mate's safety.

💡 Tip: Always read medication labels and follow medical advice. If something could impact your ability to work safely, speak up early so the right support or adjustments can be made.

Start strong, stay safe, finish well.

We were delighted to attend the 2026 Thiess MPO Family Open Days on the 3rd and 17th of May. 👷‍♂️👷

The turnout and enthusiasm across both days were fantastic and was a great opportunity to engage with families in the community. We appreciate everyone who stopped by our stall and got involved in the activities and games. 🎯

Although Emma has only been with us for a couple of weeks, she has already settled in well and become a valued part of the team in the role of Workforce Administrator.
