Have you added accessories on your vehicle like new rims, a bullbar, roof racks, a canopy etc? Make sure you add these on to your insurance policy! If you are in an accident and don't have your accessories listed on your policy your insurer won't pay to have them replaced and you will be faced with out of pocket expenses to purchase them again

Been in an accident but you weren't at fault? Is your car non-driveable or you will just need a replacemet whilst it is being repaired? Here's how we can help!

We partner with Carbiz to be able to offer 'like for like' replacement cars whilst your vehicle is being repaired. Here's a quick explanation from Carbiz:

"If you’re in a car accident that wasn’t your fault, Australian law says you should be put back in a similar position as before the accident. This means that the at-fault driver, or more commonly their insurer, must cover certain costs such as hire costs of an equivalent temporary car while yours is off the road. This temporary car is called an accident replacement car, and in most cases, you’re entitled to one if you weren’t at fault in an accident involving two or more vehicles. You can use it until your car is repaired or deemed a total loss, provided you do not delay the repair or total loss process."

Wondering why your insurance company wants to write your vehicle off? Damage doesn't look that bad?

A lot of variables factor into why your insurer might deem your vehicle a total loss, some of which include:

1. THE VALUE OF THE VEHICLE IS LESS THAN THE COST OF REPAIR
- For some makes and models, the parts required to complete the repairs can costs thousands! Most commonly, insurers will only pay for repairs up to 85% of your policy's value so depending on the extent of the damage, sometimes the most viable option is for them to pay you out and write the vehicle off.

2. THE PARTS REQUIRED FOR REPAIRS ARE UNAVAILABLE
- Particularly in older vehicles, manufacturers cease production of parts and sometimes there isn't an aftermarket alternative. Wreckers also may not have anything available either and therefore if the parts required for the repair cannot be sourced the vehicle could be written off

3. UNSEEN DAMAGE
- Despite our best efforts to examine the damage on your vehicle prior to lodging our quote with your insurer, sometimes it is inevitable that there will be further, more extensive damage that is uncovered upon the removing of panels. Components such as wiring, sensors and damage to the structural integrity of the vehicle can be very costly to repair and sometimes are unable to be repaired

Can't believe we are already here again! Tools will be down 4pm Thursday 18 December 2025 and the crew will be having a well deserved rest over the Christmas and New Year break. We will be back at it 8am Monday 5 January 2026.

Once again a huge thank you our customers, suppliers, workers and supporters for another fantastic year. It's been such a huge year for our little business and we are so proud of all we are achieving.
