Bit of Diagnoses on this 86 landcruiser with upgraded LED headlights and spotlights.

Issue with this vehicle is that it keeps melting the spotlight fuse.

Upon further inspection we found that nearly all the earth's need replacement due to corrosion and we suspect that the spotlight wiring is fairly dated and in need of an upgrade.

Further diagnosis and rectification required to confirm.

Nice little after hours job on this 1996 Toyota Celica.

Removed and replaced timing belt, water pump, oil pump seal, crank and cam seals.

Was able to save this customer some money by doing some research on parts. With the knowledge of these engines being used in Holden Apollo's, we were able to obtain a genuine Holden timing belt kit for more than half the price of a genuine Toyota kit!

Totalling parts and labour we were able to carry out the service for about the same as the Toyota timing belt kit.

Bit of a fun job on our resident 1990 GT4 Celica this weekend.

Noticed a tick when warm and found that the valve adjustment was a fair bit out.

After removing the cams and digging through a spare set of shims I've managed to dial in a couple of cylinders.

Unfortunately the spare shims only went so far.

Once the new shims arrive it'll be back together in no time.

While diagnosing a no start fault of this 86 petrol Landcruiser, it was made clear that the age is finally catching up to the old girl.

After cleaning the points from all the corrosion she fired up straight away. Once running it was clear it had a hesitation at low RPM.

After a replacement distributor cap, fuel filter and setting the timing correctly it's running beautifully!

2020 Chrysler 300 in for a 146,000km service today.

Basic service carried out with the addition of an air filter.

Identified a set of worn out lower ball joints causing quite a nasty knock, which will be swapped out shortly!
