π THE LADIES BEHIND JBβS π€
Tonight, the ladies behind JBβs got to step out of the office for a change and take a moment to celebrate and recognise women in the automotive industry at the Auto Womenβs Social.
It was a nice change of pace for the women who are at the forefront of JBβs every day - answering the phones, organising breakdowns, ordering parts, preparing quotes, managing stock, coordinating jobs and doing everything in between.
Youβll often see our boys out in the workshop doing what they do best, but behind them is an incredible team making sure they have what they need to work efficiently and effectively and, most importantly, keep your fleets and vehicles moving and on the road.
The two ladies by my side are an absolute powerhouse and a huge part of what makes JBβs what it is today. π
π LOUISE - OUR LV QUEEN
Louise is often the friendly voice youβll hear on the other end of the phone - and as a lot of you already know, it wonβt take long before she recognises your voice, has a giggle with you and gets straight to making sure youβre taken care of.
Whether itβs something as simple as a blown headlight or youβre stranded and sheβs organising a tow truck to come and rescue you, you can always count on Louise to somehow keep you smiling even when the circumstances arenβt the best.
With a wealth of knowledge in the light vehicle sector, she knows what you need, who needs to do it and how to get it sorted. She keeps our LV boys organised, our customers looked after and the wheels turning every single day.
π JAYDE - OUR HV QUEEN
Then thereβs Jayde - and this girl does not accept βwe canβt get itβ as an answer. π
If something is needed and everyone tells her itβs a month away, thereβs a pretty good chance sheβll have it here next week.
She is an absolute force to be reckoned with when things get complicated and a powerhouse in our heavy vehicle sector. She understands that when a truck, machine or piece of equipment is down, sometimes you donβt need the part next week - you needed it yesterday.
And somehow, she makes it happen.
Better yet, once sheβs found it, you can almost guarantee sheβll make sure there are another two sitting on the shelf so weβre ready for next time. π
If she isnβt keeping our HV boys on their toes, sheβs making sure our stock is accounted for, our inventory is organised and the workshop has what it needs - quite often before the boys even realise they need it.
And then thereβs me, somewhere in the middle of all the organised chaos. π
Between our team, our customers, HR, accounts, marketing, business development and continually figuring out where we can take JBβs next, Iβm incredibly lucky to have these two beside me.
As JBβs continues to grow, so does the responsibility behind the scenes - and I couldnβt do what I do without women like these two backing our team every day.
Automotive and mechanical industries might traditionally be seen as a manβs world, but there are some bloody incredible women behind this industry too - in workshops, trades, parts departments, offices, management, operations and businesses across the country.
Tonight was about taking a moment to recognise that. π
So hereβs to the ladies behind JBβs - and to all the women behind the workshops, trucks, machinery and fleets that keep Australia moving.
We might not always be holding the toolsβ¦
but you can guarantee weβre helping make sure the right tool, the right part, the right person and the right job are exactly where they need to be. π
