Catrina and I started this journey 8 years ago… and this Thursday, April 30, it comes to an end.

We’ve made the difficult decision to close our little business. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of South Australians get out there and explore with some amazing campers. Along the way, many of you have become great friends, and we’re truly grateful for your support.

At 55 (still hard to believe!), with a worn-out back, rising fuel and freight costs, a lease coming to an end, and fewer customers in the current economic climate, it feels like the right time to step away.

As they say… time to hang up the gloves.

A big thank you to Karl & Sheree from Blue Tongue, Adam Mathieson from SWAG/Nomadic, and Steve from Marlin — you’ve all been fantastic to work with over the years.

Most importantly, thank you to my incredible wife, Catrina. None of this would have been possible without you.

To all our loyal customers — keep enjoying those campers. We hope to see you out on the road, because that’s exactly where we’ll be too.

We enjoyed an awesome Easter break away with some great friends this year. Bundaleer Forest, Arkaroola and home again via Melrose for a Snitty and cold beer. There was hardly anyone on the road and fuel was plentiful. Arkaroola was stunning, with flowing creeks and clear nights to enjoy the stars. We also had some 4WD fun!

All set up and ready to go! We've got Steve and Alan with a stunning range of Marlin Campers. We love them and use them regularly. Catrina and I will be showing off two brand new Blue Tongues which arrived on Saturday. We'd also like to introduce Mark and Michael from Prattline. These vans will stun you with their innovation and design. We have three on display which are luxury on wheels, one of which can be towed by a Tesla!

These stunning new Blue Tongue vans have arrived today just in time for next week's show. The XH15 has been completely upgraded for 2026 and the new XH16L has standard features, fit and finish which will leave vans, costing twice as much, well and truly behind. Come down and say hello next week; we're in our usual spot; H05.
