It’s a beautiful day to be outdoors, and this man is riding his bike while collecting 10‑cent bottles to keep the area tidy. When passing, you must maintain a minimum clearance of one metre where the speed limit is 60 km/h or less.

You may cross solid single lines, double lines, or centre lines when overtaking a bicycle—but only if the road ahead is clear and it’s safe to do so. For further information, please see the link in the comments.

Not all hazards on rural roads come with warning signs… some are 6-foot-tall dinosaurs that come with a police es**rt. 🦖

Wildlife moves fast at dawn and dusk – and so should your awareness (not your speed).

More than 10 million native animals are killed on Australian roads every year, according to Wildlife Victoria, with thousands of wildlife collisions reported across Victoria annually.

Regional roads can be unpredictable, so a few simple habits can help:
🦖Slow down at dawn and dusk.
🦖Watch for movement near the roadside.
🦖Avoid swerving suddenly at high speeds.
🦖Leave extra space between vehicles on country roads.

Dinosaurs may be extinct, but the risks aren't. Stay alert and stay safe.

OMG Not Again!
It’s been less than a month, and we’ve already got another driver auditioning for “Guess That Lane!” Turning from the wrong lane like it’s a new sport. The rest of us got stuck for 18 whole seconds — and we all know that’s enough time for someone to question their life choices at the wheel. So please, folks, before you turn, check those road markings — they’re not just decorative!

Here we have a driver who simply could not wait to get to MidValley and experience the architectural masterpiece that is their newly renovated toilets. By weaving through traffic like a budget Fast & Furious extra, crossing solid lines with the confidence of someone who’s never read a road rule, and refusing to give way to literally anyone, they heroically shaved a whopping seven seconds off their trip.May those seven seconds have delivered them safely to the porcelain throne of their dreams.

If the median strip is wide enough for a car to wait safely in the middle, then sure — a driver can break the turn into two parts.

But a lot of medians are pretty narrow and won’t fit a whole car, like the one in this video.

So when you’re turning from the side street at a narrow median, it’s better to just commit and make the turn in one smooth movement.
