It was time to shake out some cobwebs so today we took a trip out to the Boisdale Hillclimb. Like everywhere is Victoria we had four seasons worth of weather today. Both cars preformed amazingly and the facilities are incredible.

Well, what a weekend!

We got our 2nd event in the excel! And what a different car it turned out to be after ironing out a few issues we found after the last event.

Whispa ran smoothly. Giving all entrants a good chance at some seat time. Unfortunately trying to get some grip on the tracks by playing tyre pressures cause multiple flats.... Sorry girls 😜.

With some bush mechanics, we continued. And completed the weekend winning multiple tracks. Helping us in our little side bet with Upshift Images Rob Colgrave. Always a good banter there, and so much support and help whenever we need it, cheers mate!

Looking at the results. I am so proud of what we all achieved in the little nugget. Sally racing for the first time, and in a manual. And having both Abbey and Bree both having some of our fastest runs on given tests. Not bad for their second time in this car, and their limited racing experience.

Needless to say, we will definitely be back. Need to figure out if we can catch that damn Getz... Lol

Thanks the the Yeah The Boys Racing and Rover Scout Motorsport for the awesome event, let's get some more happening!

Well, now it's official.

Nearly 2 years ago, we lost a cousin, a friend, and a supporter of our little race team. Not to mention the smile. Jake, this one's for you.

Jake had planned on helping me build our next adventure, an Excel for the Hyundai Excel Circuit series. Instead, we decided to build a car, to run alongside our beloved purple VK.

Whilst we didn't meet out target of racing it in November 2019. And 2020 was an absolute write off... We finally got the finish and bring out our new baby.

Meet Whispa!

We had an absolute blast racing her at Mafeking Rover Park in the mud. With some little teething issues and some emotion. But what do you expect from a car of mine? 😜

I want to thank everyone for their love and support. But especially to Bree and Rob, for all your hard work, not to mention everyone else who have pitched in along the way.
