π Kia Sportage | Intensive Interior Deep Clean & Restoration
This Kia Sportage presented one of the more challenging interior details I've tackled recently.
Following a medical emergency involving the owner's beloved Golden Retriever, the rear seating area was left with significant blood and biological contamination.
Despite the owner doing a fantastic job with the initial clean, the vehicle still required extensive deep cleaning to address the remaining staining, contamination and unpleasant odours.
π§Ό The restoration process included:

Targeted enzyme treatment to help break down organic contamination

Intensive steam cleaning of affected surfaces
β
Deep shampooing and extraction of seats and carpets
β
Thorough cleaning of seat belts, trims and surrounding areas
β
Extensive pet hair removal, particularly throughout the boot
β
30-minute ozone treatment to help reduce lingering odours
β
Detailed cleaning of the entire interior
Given the nature of the contamination, additional hygiene precautions were also taken, including disposing of contaminated cleaning consumables to minimise the risk of cross-contamination.
β¨ THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!
The before-and-after photos show just how much of a transformation was achieved.
Although some residual odour remained, the overall improvement was significant, and I was extremely pleased with the final result.
Most importantly, we're wishing the family's Golden Retriever a speedy recovery! πΎβ€οΈ
