πŸ† ROLL RACING SYDNEY 2WD NIGHT WINNERS β€” FOR THE 4TH TIME! πŸ†

What a weapon Frank Cannistra's Datsun has become! πŸ’ͺ

This car is absolutely flying, but more importantly, it’s consistent β€” and consistency is everything at an event like Roll Racing.

A massive thanks to Murphs Performance & Mechanical Suspension. The work they’ve put into the suspension setup has made a huge difference in getting this car down consistently, pass after pass.

And a huge thanks to Rigoli Performance for keeping the car on point β€” maintenance, engine work and everything else this thing needs to keep performing at this level.

Four-time Roll Racing Sydney 2WD Night winners! πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

Awesome result, boys. Thanks for everything! 🀝πŸ”₯

We recently had this epic XY Falcon in the workshop for a fresh tune.

Packing a Warspeed LS topped with a 6/71 blower, this thing has all the right ingredients for an old-school tyre killer.

After giving everything a thorough check-over, we got to work dialling in the Haltech ECU to get the most out of the combination.

The result?

An absolute mountain of torque that's ready to annihilate tyres at the slightest touch of the throttle. πŸ”₯πŸ’¨

This is exactly what blown V8s are all about!

We recently had this epic Ford Ranger in the workshop for a tune-up.

But don't let the body fool you... This is no ordinary Ranger.

Under the bonnet is a built LSA, controlled by a Link ECU, making this one seriously wild drift truck.

After a thorough inspection, we strapped it to the hub dyno and got to work refining the calibration.

The result? Over 700 RWHP and a tune that's ready to party.

This is definitely one to keep an eye on at the next drift event. πŸ”₯πŸ’¨

We recently had this mint VZ Calais in the workshop after the new owner wasn't happy with the way it drove.

After giving the car a thorough health check, we got to work recalibrating the factory ECU using HP Tuners to unlock its full potential while dramatically improving the drivability.

The end result?

430 RWHP and a car that's not only quicker but far smoother and more enjoyable to drive every day.

Power is one thing... but a car that drives as good as it performs is what we're really aiming for. πŸ‘Œ

Kevvi's mint FG F6 made the trip all the way down from the Gold Coast for a few upgrades and a fresh tune.

We fitted a new intake, an AES valve, and an onboard air system for COβ‚‚ boost control before strapping it to the hub dyno.

The car had previously made around 1000 RWHP at 40psi, so we dialled the COβ‚‚ boost control back to the same 40psi and got to work.

The graph says it all. Both runs are at the exact same boost pressure. The only difference? Properly tuning the VCT (Variable Cam Timing).

This is why camshaft tuning is so important on these engines. There was a huge amount of torque left on the table, and with the VCT dialled in, the improvement speaks for itself.

To finish it off, we set up Haltech Traction Control... for those "Mexico" races. πŸ˜‰πŸ‡²πŸ‡½

Pat's immaculate VX was back on the dyno recently after a few upgrades.

The old 4L60E had reached its limits, so we replaced it with a tough Shift right 4L80E built to handle the extra power.

Controlled by the Haltech TI4L, this Sunday cruiser is anything but tame, laying down 700+ horsepower at the hubs. πŸ‘ŠπŸ”₯

Looks stock. Drives like a cruiser. Hits like a freight train.

Congratulations to Paul in Shrek on taking the Round 3 win at the Lakeside No Prep Series! πŸ†

On short notice, Paul rolled up still running the same tune that won the last 2wd Brisbane Roll Racing event. πŸ˜‚

Safe to say it wasn’t the ideal tune for today’s conditions with a roll racing boost ramp but Paul still managed to get the job done!

Thanks for your continued support. Proud to have you as part of the Murph’s Performance Army. πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

Not every job is about chasing bigger numbers... sometimes it's about getting the combination right. πŸ‘Œ

John's LS-powered VL Commodore came into the workshop with a frustrating misfire that was stopping the car from performing the way it should.

After a bit of diagnosis, we found the issue:
❌ Incorrect heat range spark plugs
❌ Burnt ignition leads

We sorted it properly by:
πŸ”§ Installing the correct plugs
πŸ”§ Relocating the coils
πŸ”§ Making a custom set of ignition leads
πŸ”§ Finishing it off with a full tune on the Emtron World ECU

The end result speaks for itself...

πŸ’₯ 605RWHP
πŸ’¨ 11psi
β›½ Pump 98

A clean, reliable package that drives as good as it looks. Massive thanks to John for trusting us with such a tidy VL. We can't wait to see this thing out on the street. πŸ‘ŠπŸ”₯
