This is your chance to own to a very quick EV Beetle. We’re offering this Beetle for sale now so that the lucky owner can decide the direction for the build from the beginning. We have a clean slate here. The lucky owner can decide which way to go with panel and paint, whether it’s a full resto, part resto or leave the character it’s got and just get straight into the EV conversion. The engine bay is empty, the 1972 VW Super Beetle has the IRS rear end and is just begging for a Tesla drive unit to propel this machine. That’s the 1 choice that’s already decided. This Super Beetle is definitely getting a Tesla motor. We’re happy to go Tesla Small drive or Large drive. We’d love to put a large drive in here, so if that’s something you’re interested in, let’s go! This will be one of the quickest EV Beetles out there so if you’re serious about speed, this is the one for you.

This particular Super Beetle has a full owners and service history. The previous owner had it for 14 years and was very particular about who it would be sold to. The previous owner is really excited for it to go EV.
There’s been the typical rust repair in the roof sills, so the poor paint match can be seen, but that just means you know the repair is there, done and taken care of.
We partner with professionals who specialise in VW panel and paint repair and those guys are well known in the VW community so if you do want to have this car completely or partly restored we can certainly organise a fantastic restoration for you.
