Peninsula Motorfest absolutely delivered.

👊To our crew — thank you for backing us, working your arses off and giving everything you had today.
None of this would happen without you.

🙌To our customers who came down, found us, brought the cars out, had a yarn, checked in and showed Empire so much love — that meant more than you know.

Days like this remind us that Empire was never just about cars.

This is the part that means the most….

Somewhere along the way, Moreton Bay Detailing stopped being another business we knew and became our people.

They understand the stuff behind the scenes.

The pressure.
The long days.
The grind.
The hustle.
The days where you question everything and somehow still have to keep showing up.

And on some of those days, they’ve been the people in our corner reminding us to keep going.

They back us.
They motivate us.
They celebrate the wins with us.
And they understand the hard days without us needing to explain them.

Last night, we were both nominated for the same award.

Same category.
Same room.
Technically, competition.

But it never felt like that.

There was no rivalry.
No ego.
No weirdness.

Just two businesses genuinely wanting to see each other win.
No matter who won, we were standing proud side by side.
And that means more than any trophy ever could.

Because the awards are amazing.

But the people you find while you’re building something?

That’s the part you hold onto.

We’ll always be grateful for the people who stand beside us on the good days and the hard ones.

In this moment... LS owners' hearts are breaking.

"OMG look at it, it's all smashed up" — that was real, caught live, first time we saw it.

Every LS owner knows this fear. You pour everything into that engine — the money, the mods, the hours — and somewhere in the back of your mind, you know this is possible.

This is what it looks like when it actually happens.

Not staged. Not dramatised. Just us, in the moment, genuinely gutted for whoever's build this was.

This is exactly why nothing gets touched, quoted, or promised until it's been opened up and looked at properly.
Your LS deserves that respect before anything else.

Big one for us this week.

Empire's been nominated for a Local Business Award, and Friday we're closing early to attend the ceremony and dinner.
Not because the tools stop mattering.
Because the people who use them deserve to be recognised properly, once in a while.

Every one of these blokes had a hand in getting us here —Built by the crew, not just the two of us.

So Friday afternoon, we're swapping the shed for formal wear instead of a bonnet.

Back to normal trading Saturday.

If you need us before then, get in early in the week — Friday's booking window will be tight.

Thanks for backing a shop that started in a backyard shed. This one's for the team.
