2024 Harley-Davidson Breakout | 172HP / 162TQ Build
Built in-house at Kidd Motorcycles – Morayfield QLD

This Breakout received a full performance upgrade focused on improving airflow, torque delivery, and top-end horsepower — all while maintaining street reliability.

Engine Upgrades:
• Trask Tornado high-flow intake system
• Performance camshaft upgrade
• 55mm throttle manifold
• High-flow fuel injectors
• Custom dyno tune by Suncoast Powerhouse Dyno

Dyno Results:
• 172.47 horsepower @ 6,300 RPM
• 162.60 ft-lbs torque @ 4,120 RPM

Performance Overview:
This setup delivers strong low-end torque with a broad, usable powerband. The upgraded manifold and injector pairing provide the volume needed to support top-end gains, while the Trask intake maintains velocity and throttle response. Cam timing was selected to complement both street and performance riding.

The result is a smooth yet aggressive power curve that’s controllable in traffic but opens up aggressively when pushed. Ideal for the rider chasing reliable, everyday power with serious acceleration potential.

💥 Dyna came in lookin’ like it got built at Bunnings 💥

Self tappers holding the switchblocks together, wires drilled out the top.
Whole thing was throwing electrical tantrums — pinched wires, overlength cables, nothing worked right.

So we sorted it:
🔧 New chrome switch blocks
🛠️ Clean internal wiring job
📏 Correct-length cables (no spaghetti)
⚡️ All working proper now
🪖 And slapped on a set of 8” Thrashin mid-bend bars to give it that stance

Now it’s not just clean — it’s nasty.
Dyna’s back where it belongs: loud, lean and built for war.

🛠️ Road Glide Revival — From Leaky & Lazy to Dialled & Deadly 🛠️

This Road Glide rolled in needing more than just a touch-up.
Oil in the throttle body, poor breather setup, brake fade, worn suspension, and let’s just say… the primary told a story. 😬

We gave it the full treatment:

🔧 Major service — oil, filters, clutch, bearings, and a deep inspection front to back
🌬️ Found excess oil pooling in the throttle body — fully cleaned the throttle body & manifold
🧼 Top-end cleaner used to burn off oil build-up on pistons
⚙️ Rerouted the breathers to a 4-stage catch can system to keep the oil where it belongs
💨 Installed vent kit — drilled & set up the inner primary the right way. When we opened it up, the primary was full of gearbox oil, leaving no oil in the gearbox itself. That issue is now properly sorted.
💥 Pulled the exhaust and primary to access the trap door — removed that spinner and did it properly
🛑 New brake pads and full caliper service
⚡ Set up Öhlins rear suspension for a plush but planted ride
🔥 Swapped plugs, cleaned up the air cleaner, and made sure every bolt is torqued and tight

From struggling to breathing freely — this Road Glide is back in business and built to go the distance.

This 117ci weapon came in for some serious upgrades, and we delivered 💪

✅ S&S 55mm Manifold
✅ 5.5g S&S Injectors
✅ Feuling Lifters + S&S Tappet Cuffs
✅ 465 Cam + Adjustable Pushrods
✅ Full Service + Dyno Tune

The result? A beast that pulls hard with 144.79Nm of torque and 111.21hp at the wheel, tuned and tested
Clean install, clean tune, and a night-and-day difference in throttle response and rideability.

Kicking off the year with something pretty cool, we had a customer bring in their Street Glide 107 now equipped with

- upgraded cam chest paired with 465 lift cam
- performance machine upgrade chain tensioner

- Dyno Jet Quick shifter for those FAST gear changes
- Arnott Air suspensions
- Compensator ramp upgrade
